Officer is more agitated around black people than the white people that was standing next to him.
There are several problems with this. However ai will keep it short. He had no way of knowing whicj kids were called but if they were fighting then detain wjo you can. Word is there were too many blacks so they called the police. Second profanity to that caliber is a No No. The black girl was compliant, disrespectful maybe but compliant. He had no reasom to arrest her. The gun pulling was just too much.
Wonder what happened before the cops were called. There might be a chance that the teenagers were acting like… teenagers. We all know they aren’t too bright, especially when in groups.

TLDR

Despite the events that lead up to this video, you can’t go around pulling gun out unless you are going to use it. Dude was out of control, even when someone off camera yells out he pulled the gun out the officer reacts by saying no he didn’t.
People have been very quick to flag this as racism. I don’t know though I can kind of see them reacting the same way if it were 100 white kids doing the same.
Watched the video again. He took the gun out only when he was approached on his blind side by two guys. Once they were gone, he reholstered. In that context, its likely that he was just protecting his gun from being grabbed.
Inconclusive social experiment in my opinion. Different cop, different feelings towards race.
Sure i’m not saying racism is right because it’s not however there are people who act differently to black or white people all over the world and naturally some of them are going to be cops. They don’t know if it was subject to that one particular cop. These experiments need to be done I’d say at least 3 times with each person and if you get the same result all 3 times I’d say thats more conclusive evidence of police racism. Otherwise all you are prooving is that the guy who stopped you is mroe cautious of a black male than a white male and nothing else.
I think if you consider the facts that black people make up around 13% of america and over half the homicide in america is commited by black people then the police could have a right to be slightly more cautious. it’s like saying, I’m gonna throw you into a pit of 18 white tigers and 2 normal tigers, the 2 normal tigers are responsible for killing more than half of all the zookeepers that were killed last year.
Which tigers are you going to be more scared of? Aside from the fact that tigers are scary as shit anyway but just for example sake.
While I agree that cops have gone too far in the past I think this uproar will end up causing many white police to be too cautious about detaining a black person even in the proper situation because of the bad press/reputation/hate that they may get thrown on them even if they are truly not racist and would have taken the same procedure with a white person.
Unfortunately we don’t have any willing brown people to exercise their rights to bare arms at airports.
We should try to do better than stereotyping all black people as criminals. There’s definately a trust issue but it goes both ways sadly little is being done but either side to fix it.

Its nothing too wild, and the video starts after the initial incident, and after the first cop arrived. When he pulled out his gun, it was for a valid reason. Two dudes acted like they were gonna run up on him, after he was trying to pin down the one girl, then he got up and pulled out his gun, and they took off running. They put themselves in a position to get arrested, or possibly shot by some trigger happy cop. She got forced down i guess because he was tired of her lip. She was actually walking away with a group of others, while still kinda popping off, and he pulled her back and was like noooope. Talking all that shit, then when she got yanked up, she was like, MOMMY. lol. Not saying it was right, since all it did was escalate the situation, but my general hatred for humans sometimes allows these types of indulgences for those who truly wanna show off for reasons.
I’m sure it was a basic case of little niggas acting up, someone called the cops, cause they like, who the fuck are these motherfuckers, since someone said some people were just jumping the fence to get in. Then the incident with the comment from the white lady broke out, and when they cops came, instead of playing cool, they nervously took off running/not obeying any request by the original officers on the scene, which then escalated the situation, because these days, teens taking off running from a pool party is equal to them possibly being violent criminals that need to be hawked down. Wouldnt it be an easier job done if people just took off running when you got there. lol. I’d be like, cool, looks like my jobs done. lol
The funny thing, is the one officer was talking to them nice and cool, and was like thanks for giving me back my flashlight, but dont just take off running when the cops get here. Then the other angry dude came out of nowhere and started telling everyone to get on the ground, but again, this appears to be the result of them not initially listening to him, and being a part of the dudes who took off running.
Black parents need to educate their children on how to handle themselves in these types of situations. This all escalated because a bunch of people took off running, and some bitches didnt know how to just stfu, walk across the street, and let the situation simmer. I understand young black men and women in this country are very afraid of the police, but son, youre not going to jail for hopping a fence to hang out at a pool party, and the cops dont know who is who, but if you take off running, uhhhh, now you look suspect.
This is really kind of a non issue. I’m sure there are some better incidents we can be discussing right now involving bad police work. This is just run of the mill nigga shit.
Ya, but black people arent generally the ones to take a rifle into a mall and start going ham. If anything, id be equally as cautious of a young white man with a semi auto on his shoulder, thinking hes another butt hurt dude ready to show his bullies why they shouldnt have fucked with him.
The black people involved in those homicides generally tend to be in poorer neighborhoods where no one is walking around with a semi on their shoulder (Cause they know thats a huge red target on them), and also many of those homicides are gang and drug related too. Not just black people walking around killing other black people because its tuesday. Not justifying some types of murder, but just saying, i think there is an undertone of blanketing black people as violent animals, when its still kind of a selective group doing this.
When you combine poverty, under education, gangs, drugs, and all the other small things that come with living in a “bad” neighborhood, you get many things, including homicide. Middle and upper class blacks arent still committing crimes at an even remotely similar rate as their poorer counterparts, so its clearly more of an economic issue of the people involved in these crimes, then it is simply black people are more violent. I’m sure you can find a ton of trailer trash white people who would be ready to get it in the same way.
Every time i hear a case about pedophilia, rioting over a sports game, and mass shootings, it seems to be white people involved, but i dont see anyone trying to start an argument to blanket white men for their so called criminality. Granted the fbi statistics still have yet to include hispanics in their own category, and they are generally lumped into the white category for some completely unknown reason. Although for some statistics, i can simply just use my eyes to read and observe to see who is likely the larger group still being a part of certain criminal behavior.
I mean, its not like we dont know that white people get it in when it comes to crime too. We cant just ignore what recently happened in waco texas. “But those are biker gangs, jimmy”. Yeah, so what, and many of the homicide victims and offenders are poor black males involved in drug and gang related activity.
I dont know, i dont automatically see criminals when i see black people, ever. I guess thats the bias of being black, but also knowing how many of my people are misrepresented as violent animals simply by how they look. We may be loud in the movie theater, sometimes too proud to not get into an argument over some stupid shit, but to just look at your average black person you walk by that doesnt immediately look like carlton banks, as a potential violent criminal in the midst, who has a gun on them ready to fire off, is ludicrous.
