Hmmm… Yeah i think that might be the key ive been missing, i thought her fireballs were ass cause when i tried to use them before, they were hella inadequate and never seemed to work… But now that ive gotten her up to gdlk upclose status… They look in t mode to maybe be adequate at least as a diversion for an in… I didnt realize that she could throw another set of stingers while the first one was still onscreen… Im also seeing that using any one type of fireball will probably get me nowhere… Its mixing them up that may be effective. One of goukens strongest points in his fireball game is his ability to hold his fireballs, let his opponent jump towards him, then release it and let them land on it… I had a pocket gouken that was good at that kinda stuff so, it might apply to painwheel. Biggest problem will be how to beat out other characters fireball games… Her charged fireballs do really good damage so i imagine a trade with a lvl 2 stinger will be in her favor. But if she has no real way to force a hp fireballing parasoul to mix up some other fireballs besides charged hp shots… It will be for nothing im afraid… The point is to get those damn characters to do something different…
Peacock as well i dont think will care much for them at all and it will just be a slight nuisance at best. But perhaps if it opens up some mindgames then we may be in business. Will have to ponder this and get some games in as soon as possible.
After a patch, I think it’ll be: Painwheel, Filia, Peacock, Cerebella, Parasoul, Ms. Fortune, Double, Valentine.
This is of course if I remember everything correctly. I think that patched Skullgirls will be very reliant on resets. I heard that Painwheel will still be able to hit at least 7k after patch, and her resets are already really great. Filia has got some great resets too, and won’t be getting damaged to bad from the changes. Peacock LOVES everything that is happening. Bella and Parasoul will still be in the middle. They’ll still be viable, but all there nerfs will make the other three in front of them. Valentine’s damage got KILLED, Double will still have an okay assist (Lk bomber still has invincibility, right?), and Ms. Fortune can’t kill you off of anything anymore.

Double is still good cause bomber is still good and nothing that made her s tier in the last game got nerfed bad enough… Shes simply more fair now.
Fortune has high damage, good mobility, an assist available in her head interactions and hard to punish gtfo.
Filia got incredibly buffed and has sick reset game.
Painwheel hits like a grown ass man, and probably has the sickest reset game in the game… Plus flight for avoiding bs.
Peacock got bomb cancels to make her defense much more braindead… Ie actually good, though she still dies the instant you touch her.
Parasoul has incredible pressurse and tools, though shes as easy if not easier to kill than peacock once you hit her.
Bella, also free on hit.
Parasoul and bella can control matches with smart use of their air pokes, outside of that the characters require some deft skill to work the kinks out and are imho way to free in the air for them to be higher… Though double is free in the air as well and double is second in this list.
Overall i think the tier list is very compressed, the game is balanced and seems much more of a game that is based on counters than anything else… Though i dont know what counters val or fortune… Maybe bella?
I personally think Fortune is a stupid rough match for Bella.
She doesn’t contest button wise, she can’t really stop the head games once they start, and the Fortune player will always be in control of the match, with better air normals, Cerebella’s not going anywhere, and on the ground, Ms.Fortune’s head is just hell.
I dont play either character so i have no idea. I just know that bellas jhp at 7 frames startup shouldnt be getting beaten by ANYTHING air to air imho… But who knows.
I cant see mfs jhk being that good though… Seems kinda slow… Maybe a hitbox issue i guess?
I’m guessing your list is conceived of only the people you’ve played against, not seen.
Because fortune isn’t that great, neither is peacock. Even if i’m pissed off about parasouls dmg she’s still better than most of those characters you have higher than her.
If she werent so free to airthrow/frametrap mixup i would have her higher. What do you against someone that runs throw in the air plus 50/50 frametrap?

But, actually thats pre patch thinking. Post patch throws dont do as much damage,so that definitely helps her. Still dont see her as high as everyone else though… But i dont think shes weak in the least… I dont think any character is.
You’re thinking to technical, first off everyone can be air thrown. Lol and its not that hard to tech a airthrow if you’re expecting it, Ciscokid4 is probably the best peacock ive seen/played and i bop him all the time with parasoul yet peacock is higher in your list. Also i played guitalex id guess hes one of the best fortune players since no one else plays her really and i’d say she’s B tier you can see her tricks and have time to react, fiber uper is also pretty easy to punish/bait.
Fortune’s buttons are good, Bella’s range is a lot better. However, Fortune’s Nom will always break armor. So it makes it harder for Bella to approach with command run, so it forces Bella to take to the air.
