Attacus was a joke, I managed to beat him in 7-8 minutes.
Gonna redo the Adamantortoise mission to 5-star it then go on and beat the final mission. There’s a vid showcasing how to beat it so I’ll get it and use it as reference to beat it.
After that, I’ll beat the final boss, 5-stars then go on to another game <3.
This is prob. the first FF I’ve beaten before my brother, he usually beats them before me
I look forward to replaying the game in the future to get the all Acc and Weapons Trophy XD
Speaking of which, I’m upgrading then dismantling Gae Bolg to get Traps, but does anyone know an estimated value of how much EXP is needed to upgrade it through it’s tiers (ie how much from tier 1->, 2-> and 3->*)?
I’ll be using Ultracompact Reactor for EXP BTW.
Max out your accessory that protects against Death (Cherub’s Crown and Seraph’s Crown upgrade) and give it to the leader…
Honestly, I’m hearing a lot of talk about end of chapter 9 and 11 boss using death(or doom) on the leader but he’s never once done it to me…and i’ve had to retry those boss fights a few times too.
So I finally got to Chapter 11, and to Gran Pulse. Last thing I did was get Alexander and accept my first Cieth stone mission. I did not bother upgrading my weapons at all up until this point, nor did I bother with grinding and maxing out my roles, but I’m about to start all that fun stuff now. Maybe I should check out the first page of this thread to pick up some tips on crafting before I do anything, I’m a complete scrub at it right now. I’m seriously loving every minute of this game, and it’s only gotten better now that it’s no longer holding my hand. Right now, I consider it much better than most FF games to be honest, except for maybe FFIX and FFXII.
I’m curious, what’s the max percentage you can get on Death proof? So far I have 2 maxed out Seraph’s Crowns (I think that’s what they’re called) and a maxed out Cherub Crown and so far I’m at 92%. If it can go to 100, I’ll just go grind a little so I can max the last one out.
Yea, I’m one of those unfortunate ones who got killed with about 2/3 of final boss’s hp gone.
EDIT: Never mind. It only goes up to 94 percent. That should be good enough.
Ok, maybe I’m being retarded and misread it, but I can’t figure out how to use waystones. I completed the mark for the first one I found, and when I went back to it, I was just shown the results of the hunt and didn’t give me an option to teleport anywhere. What am I doing wrong?
just beat the game. went straight through with very little “leveling up.” i enjoyed the whole experience. i’m in the middle of a light semester, so i was able to take a few hours here and there to go through the game, and i have to say that i hope that i will have time in the near future to play through again and complete the side quests and max out characters. i barely got through level 4 on the grid.
You need to have atleast two waystone Cie’th stones beat before you can teleport…they should appear as orange ones on the map (not blinking if you beat them).
That Raktavija x 2 mission seemed kinda annoying at first but then I understood the key to the fight and blasted those annoying things.
Key is Slow and keep Ravaging while in healing sessions. After their shield is down, Cold Blood the fucker then 3 Commandos while Blitzing and they are out in one set.
Sazh deserves a threesome with the lesbian duo for being too fucking awesome.
@Legend II- I beat the Gigantuar on my first try AND got 5-stars. I had Sent+Rav+Sab I think and used Sols before the battle. I keep nailing him with Fire magic and he eventually got staggered. I switchedto an offensive paradigm and beat his ass.
what weapon you using for Sahz? I’m torn between upgraded Antares (chain bonus up) or something with more str/mag, or maybe the one that lengthens stagger duration.
It took me SO LONG to five star Rakts x2. I eventually caught a break and got an instant chain proc after casting Slow on the second Rakt. From there, I just kept at it with COM / RAV / RAV and at around 15% / 999% I Highwind’d. From there it was smooth sailing.
Just got to do the rest of the circle jerk cie’th stones then I can move on to 64.
i dunno…im just hittin disc 2…Games not feeling as epic as the other FF’s like I havent got that feeling of “Oh shit whos that powerful ass Nigga-OH HE BOUT TO-OHHHH SHIT SON”
Its sort of Odd…
But u kno what…Ima keep Playin and Stfu before i fully call the game out
Okay I started playing FF13 yesterday and there are a few things I’m not happy with already…
Why is my fight being given a youtube rating?
I remember when I used to feel good just for being able to scrape past a tricky boss. THe fanfare music gave a great sense of accomplishment and allowed you to unwind as the characters swung their weapons around and the camera did a little panning effect.
…Now I feel like I’m playing a time attack mode. The battle is already on super fast mode and then I get rushed when its over and scrutinized by some invisible panel of judges!
Am I the only one who thinks this is just plain wrong??
You can’t escape battles now? You get to “Retry”? WTF???
So now if I battle my little heart out and beat a boss and the judges say, “Well actually I thought that was a 2 star fight” I now feel like I HAVE to retry! I’m not liking this idea at all! What else have they fucked with?
The star ratings just affect your chances for an item drop IIRC. Five star = best chances of a normal/rare item dropping, and no star = better chance for an aegisol/fortsol/ethersol/deceptisol(maybe?) of dropping.
If you no-star an enemy or boss, you can’t just “retry”. Unless you have a save file before the said fight, you’re living with what ever rating you get.
