I have like 600k points saved up on Hope so I think I’ll dump them and bring him back into my party. I’ve been using Sazh/Light/Fang because Haste is gdlk. How do I get Sprint Shoes?
My team was Fang/Snow/Lightning but then I changed it for the final battle because it really wasn’t working. I have a power glove maxed out and auto haste and death protection.
I will definitely give it at least one more try now though, thanks.
Max out Tetradic Tiara, upgrade it to a Tetradic Crown, max that out, then disassemble it for some Sprint Shoes.
Anyone beat the mission 64 boss? Around what hp does you team got?
Count me among those who was shocked when Death hit Neochu and then realized you still had those 5 or 6 like jerks running around still. Death wouldn’t hit so I had to use Imperil and then firebomb each one to death, ugh.
Okay, I feel like I’m being trolled now, where did this line come from? It sounds so familiar and I’ve had like four friends say that too me now in the past week or so.
Lol. We should start an SRK group; “We killed Neochu with Death but forgot about his little gremlins”.
I’d join that group >.>
has anyone done all of titans challenges? im pretty sure you get a trophy once you complete them all, but do you get anything else?
The last mission when you complete the titan’s trials rewards you with the Genji Glove accessory, I believe, which pushes the damage cap of 99,999 to 999,999. I’ve been going through as much as I can without really power grinding or leveling ( just recently maxed out 2 of the 3 primary roles for each characters ), and have had some fun seeing some high numbers with it, in the 200k - 350k range with Fang’s Highwind. It’s just that godlike to grab.
I killed the neochuu the first time too. Then I felt dumb when my paradigms weren’t set as well. Light was trying to sentinel with fang trying to heal. I was like “DAMMIT lol”
Now I am running about getting daps from my nig Titan for killing mobs.
I’m confused about some of these weapon effects. I’m at the point where I want to start upgrading Hope and Snow’s weapons, but I realized I have no idea what these things do.
What does “Aspir abilities enhanced” refer to?
What’s the difference between Paladin and Umbra (improved guard vs improved ward")?
I’m using Sazh, Hope, and Lightning/Snow depending on situation. Rigels have great phy and mag attack and random instant chain with blitz is crazy. I don’t bother building up chains anymore on tougher mobs, I just wait for the effect to proc.
i just tried it again (because i’m obsessed with the music in the last boss fight and the aesthetics of the last boss) and yeah…its pretty easy.
strat for last boss
Spoiler
- last boss fight starts
- switch to med/med/syn (iirc fang has syn and not sab. regardless the point is to have two meds and the other person cast debuffs on the boss. so if i don’t have the correct role at the end you know what i mean. its either syn or sab, i forgot)
- heal up because he will cast merciless judgment first thing
- healed up, switch to med/syn/sab
- heal while your party casts buffs and debuffs. be patient. even letting them cast as much as they can you will still five star this boss EASY.
- switch to rav/rav/com and get that stagger bar to almost stagger
- switch to heal if necessary. again be patient don’t worry about attacking too much if you are in the yellow and heal. the stagger bar will be straight.
- switch back to rav/rav com, boss is staggered
- switch to com/rav/com. switch to heal if necessary while you attack the hell out of this boss. he should be losing life like crazy.
- stagger bar is almost depleted switch to med/med/syn or sab and
- the boss will cast merciless judgment
- heal up. repeat til done.
basically anytime you are in the green and not attacking switch up to med/syn/sab so the boss can have mad debuffs on him and you can have mad buffs on you and this boss is done.
5 starred easily.
more last boss stuff
Spoiler
the boss goes down easily. next form is even easier, although the first time i’d let the fight play out and look at the boss…the attacks and the way it looks are crazy.
Aspir is eidolons/summons i think, do you have the jap version?
Guard is medi/steelguard damage reduced slightly, and ward is death/other ward chance to resist increased
last boss
Spoiler
I haven’t beaten the game, but my brother says you can kill the boss with the Death spell. Go into the fight with 2 or 3 SABs, including Vanille (Leader). Libra the boss and have the SABs do their thing. Then keep spamming Death with Vanille. Death has a 1% success rate, but very debuff successfully casted on a monster increases the percentage by 1%. There’s a vid online of some japanese player killing th final boss in 19 secs by doing this.
Which final weapons are the best for each character? Mark as spoilers, plz.
i still don’t see the point of using sazh, tho. he’s mad slow. with sprint shoes he should be about the same speed as light without sprint shoes, lol.
vanille is a weaker hope IMO.
snow is a weaker fang.
shrugs maybe thats just me tho.
If you talk about min/max end game yeah, but for non grinding story mode Vanille got more hp than Hope, Snow have tons of more hp than everyone, those hp helps a lot.
The stronger your characters are the hp gap become less and less important.
im part of that group too -_-
You guys do realize that you can just immediately summon with Vanille and tap “X” or “A” until they die, don’t you? His summon attack does a ton of damage to all of them (that’s how I got Limit Break…seems that summons can break the limit).
Never mind, I thought you meant just summon Hecaton and have him attack, not gestalt mode Hecaton.
Finally sat down and cleared the Titan Trials. God, I’d probably shoot myself if I had to do that without a map. So much many runs through just to fight each end boss -_- If you had to experiment and guess, it’d take forever.
Also, lol @ attacus when done right. Snow as sentinel with Medi-guard can basically tank him and heal himself all on his own, while 2 other ppl beat on his ass. Huray for getting a genji glove finally.
