The summon system is pretty bad. Low damage and the stagger bar resets afterwords. The only thing they are good for is the fact that your party is healed when they depart, but Renew costs less points so fuck it.
Yeah after I sat and really thought about it I figured fira didn’t do as much damage as multiple fires. Like how blitz hits multiple targets, but is not stronger than two attacks.
Until you do Sazh’s Blitz, then two Blitz becomes stronger than 10 attacks.
I would think so too, multi platform plus a hell of a lot more gamers compared to when the other FF’s came out.
Finally killed neochu with death. That asshole took me quite a while for death to actually proc. His little family almost killed me right after. Thank goodness for summon.
Gonna be grinding out cp like crazy here soon.
I love the jazzy chocobo song they got while you ride.
I know what you mean. I’ve killed Neochu at least three times with death only to die to his little mother effers.
So on the fourth Death kill, I switched from sab/sen/med to rav/sen/med and just Blizzara/Fira every single one of those little asses, all 260k hp x 5.
When death actually procced on Neochu, I kinda forgot to make an actual battle paradigm to fight with. >.>
So, I had to keep switching back and forth from sab/sen/med to rav/rav/sen like a retard.
I refuse using Vanille in anything. Horrible character/voice.
Okay, Chapter 13 is even worse then Chapter 12, for how long does this go on? At this point I just want it to be over with, I’ve had it with all the fighting and getting my ass kicked by normal enemies.
Not much longer.
You could have just tried to Death all the Picochu’s like I did.
Then I got tired of of trying so I reset the fight, this time with a rav/sen/med para-dig 'em (lols).
:wow: , I like vanille. Kinda sucks cause my party is Vanille /Snow/Fang. It is REALLY hard playing with a team whose preset roles do not work well together until you get at least SYN on one of them.
Anyways , My Thoughts on FF13… Hmm, Since i’ve played alot of the FF series im inclined to say I honestly think 13 is actually a good FF game. Not to mention Im tempted to even say its in my top 5.
Though I’ve seen alot of people dont like it. But what I’ve found it alot of the people I’ve talked to that dont like it FF7 was their first FF. Go Figure >_>
If you think about it. The story is real shit.
I’m not liking this weapons lvl up system. I could see if I was getting like a ton of components from battles, but I’m not so getting new weapons is pointless. At least for right now. I would prefer the old way when you found a weapon and it usually stronger than one you’re using at that time.
Well the weapons you do find have inherent properties that could make it better then another during certain situations/circumstances.
For example, Sazh’s Antares Deluxes, when full upgraded to the ultimate form has 600str/600mag roughly and have a boost in chain comboing that makes the chain bar fill at a faster rate. While his fully upgraded Rigels at ultimate form has 1000str/1000mag but Sazh’s himself can’t stagger the enemy, someone else has to do it. The weapon system is a neat idea IMO.
As far as not getting components, yeah, it’s a pain to not get any from battle, but there are other opportunities to get them. Treasures and missions come to mind. If you repeat missions (once you get to chapter 11 and beyond) you get bomb cores as a secondary reward. At x3 exp, they give roughly 1100 exp which is pretty good if you don’t have money to buy the more expensive components like particle accelerators (10,000gil @ 4,800 x3 exp) and ultracompact reactors (50,000 gil @ 40,000 x3 exp).
Hmm what’re the best mission to replay for getting Bomb Cores?
For some reason I’d rather sell them to make some little cash ^_^;
Spent 3 hours grinding today and made 1 mil CP :lovin: gonna grind for another 1/1.5 mil, finish some missions then beat the game.
I’ll attempt beating all missions in a future replay <3
Speaking of gil when do I start getting a lot of gil. I’m hardly getting any gil.
Chapter 9. When you get on the airship, you start fighting a lot of soldiers that drop Credit and Incentive Chips, which sell for 500 and 2,500 gil, respectively. Afterwards, you’ll find other soldiers that drop Perfume, which is worth 12,500 gil.
Is there any way to guarantee getting a Common Drop from enemies? I’ve killed nearly 4 of the GIANT turtles but no Platinum ignots ;.;
It isn’t guaranteed, but equipping a Collector’s Catalog on each of your characters help. Also, get 3 stars (this doesn’t give any extra multiplier, but you can’t get a common drop if you get a rare).
The only components you should be spending money on are: Sturdy Bones or Barbed Tails or Vibrant Oozes AND Ultracompact Reactors. These give the best amount of EXP for their buck; otherwise you are wasting money.
Also, you find a little over 20~ish Particle Accelerators if you just go through the game.
Best early Mission for Bomb Cores is #7.
To fill up each last level of a Stage 10 Crystal is about 750,000 EXP. Be prepared to grind a ton more once you beat the game.
