i wish they would remake VI already.
FFIV has extra dungeons.
how is revenant wings?
FFIV Advance is not that difficult aside from some bosses and those last dungeon random battles(not hard individually, but fighting them 20000 times can be taxing on your characters). You want hard? Play FFV Advance. If you don’t raise your characters exactly the right way, you are going to get murdered, plain and simple. FFVI Advance is easy as well, with overpowered abilities presented to you at every single point of the game. Plus, FFIV Advance has extreme lag issues which can result in consecutive turns, skipped turns, cursor screwups, etc.
they’re a remade 6 on gba.
wait, is there still no release date for ffxiii??
wtf is wrong with square?
Where’s the FF9 love?! Seriously FF9 is probably tied with 6 as my fav. FF.
BTW doesn’t the PC ver. of FF7 suck or something?
Crisis Core is awesome, I didn’t expect another spin off to be good, but it actually is good. It plays and feels like any other FF game, more so XII for obvious reasons, but I don’t get the idea that I’m playing a spin off at all. Deffinately a reason a FF fan should get a PSP…
Any news on Dissidia?
i meant on the ds. i got the remake for VI the day it came out and beat it a few days after.
Got question on Final Fantasy Tactics
Is there any difference between the PSX, GBA, DS, & PSP game version?
The DS and GBA games are original titles. The DS game is the sequel to the GBA version.
The difference between the PS1 and PSP FFT are:
-Added cutscenes and voice acting
-Writing is changed/fixed for better or for worse
-New multiplayer mode
-Additional Jobs
-New characters
-Audio and graphics suffer a bit in the PSP version
^Slowdown also…
Sorry I was talking about the new version on the DS. Most of the boss battles have been reworked, and you’ll find your party near death right off the bat in many cases
Awesome! Lookin forward to the US release :lovin:
FF IV …I might get into this… if Scott McNiel does voice-overs I found the first fight to be slow. Not sure why, though. I felt like I had to wait for the second monster attack.
Oh never mind then. One question, though. Is the system like FFIII where you can’t fight more than around 3 enemies, or can you get swarmed like crazy (i.e. like fighting 9 enemies in FFI)? Also, are there any character differences, and did they finally fix the bug involving Yang?
You can fight more than 3 enemies, some encounters that are normally 4 have been reduced to 3, but not all of them. Even the regular enemies are pumped up a little bit. They got rid of Cecil’s Dark Wave, and replaced it with a move that makes his next few melee attacks stronger, and takes away some of his life with each attack. I’m not sure about the bug with Yang. Kick now has the elemental or negative status effects of his claws, and the damage is spread over however many enemies he is attacking. Oh and pray gives you back MP as well.
So which ‘Optional Boss that can rape you’ did you ever beat the fastest? Mine was Ozma in FF9; I beat it in under 5 minutes.
Brachiorados or however it’s spelled, FF4A: OHKO’d him w/ Kain
