Hey to everyone, first I want to apologize to yall for it was me who initially fed the troll and started the derailing of the thread. My apologies for that. I should not have even tried to justify myself to him to begin with but for reason it felt like something I had to do, which was stupid on my part. Anyways to try and get this thing back on track I will be playing Kiji this weekend if everything goes right so we can record our matches but really I mean it if anyone ever wants to play online and record the matches I’m usually available on the weekends. Provided lag isnt that great I’ll record and post up at players discretion.

I apologize for derailing the thread in prior encounters as well. I wasn’t expecting to get blasted for my opinion, but I also wasn’t expecting people to think that others think that mine and Xero’s word is law around here. In regards to my “lack of match footage” I simply have not had a way to record matches with friends, and I’m not able to attend tournaments this semester. If all goes well, this semester and next, you may see me at Final Round, since that’s generally held during UoK’s Spring Break and I have friends that always attend them up here.
Well, in other news, I guess the person’s tag is “Syns House” (Spidey/Mag/Sent player), has become my favorite Spidey to watch. Thanks for the stream footage, DarKnighT!

does wesker’s lower shot hit low? cause if i web swing then follow up in air w/ wesker assist, should it be unblockable?
it does hit low but depending on the string you use after web swing can make it blockable since if it hits the same time as another move you can still block it.

Anyway, anybody know if there’s a way to web throw your opponent mid combo into the corner so you can continue the combo afterwards? I’ve only seen videos of the same spiderman combos with doom that use two web throws within the combo.
xero in that last vid you kept going for some setup on incoming characters starting with j.M. But when it hit it looked like you didn’t get anything out of it. There’s a Wesker-ish snap setup I started dicking around in training mode with and I’ve only had the chance to try it against one other player. It kinda works. Could you try it, because if it works for you then it’s probably a thing:
On an incoming character do: immidiate j.L, j.M, j.M/j.H, j.S. You have to delay each move a little bit so the j.S lands as Spidey hits the ground. j.M and j.H both work as the third hit but j.M was more consistent for me.
There are two main ones, and an additional simple one if your back is to the corner which is just crLMHS xx H Webthrow.
One cannot be used way in the corner and it is crLMH L webswing, jMMH dash under sMH xx M webthrow
Finally there is crLMH L web swing, wait, jM,H, sH xx web swing jHS (cross under) sS xx H web throw. No one does this combo though lol it takes a bit of precision to get that sS xx H webthrow at the end because of the cross under messing with some inputs
Midscreen to get them to the corner do like phantasy said and use c:l: c:m: c:h: xx :l: web swing j:m: j:m: j:h: dash under s:l: s:m: s:h: xx 
web throw then dash in and continue as you wish. If in the corner you can cross up different ways I usually just use web zip.
I was testing a new setup and applying pressure. I have multiple setups for activating throws on entry but I’m trying to find a definite defeat to pushblock. The setup I was partially attempting was j:m: j:m: j:h: j:s: xx :l: web swing* j:h: j:s: or throw. If you hit them with the initial j:m: continue after the web swing with j:h: j:s: land s:m:… (combo of choice) if they block or pushblock the j:m: the web swings momentum should put you back in throwing range without touching again. Using both the assist I had I actually could have set it up and still followed up but like I said I am testing it and came up with it on the fly.

I was playing wesker/doom/haggar in today’s locals until i was in my elimination match, so i decided why not just play my spiderman team

i should have xfactor guard canceled into doom’s level 3 and won, instead i just blocked a bunch of stuff till I couldn’t block and I died

My MM$'s from seasons beatings. I made a lot of mistakes and dropped some critical combo’s but it was a good learning experience. Feel free to critic, comment, etc.
Really wished you used more :l: spider sting -> spider bite against Chris G’s Ammy or mix between that when Chris g was using Ammy’s air dash. Seriously spidey players need to use more :l: spider sting -> spider bite. It’s one of his best tools and is so under utilised. One of the best anti airs in the game imo. Watch some Evil Rahsaan play if you want to see how useful and safe it is.
Oh and wtf? No webthrow in your combos? Webthrow combos is the only way spidey can be competitive against the DHC glitch and Phoenix teams imo. what’s the point in doing air throw resets when you can kill them in one combo?
I dunno I think spider sting is to much of a risk. Yeah the priority is nice and it leads to a free combo but if he blocks its pretty much a dead character. You have to remember that I don’t have sent drones backing me up to use as cover. I could use dark hole but the position can be awkward and can lead to free happy birthdays. Ill try to find a way to incorporate it though. Generally for anti-air purposes I like to stick with S but having another move to work with sounds good.
I do those because Spidey can’t kill wesker in 1 combo. I don’t see the point in blowing 2 meter to do around 1 mil and give him the chance to tag out for free. If you are implying I should have done some kind of convoluted double web throw combo then I dunno I generally don’t like going for over-complicated things but prefer to keep it as simple as possible to avoid making dumb mistakes (I still dropped a lot of combo’s anyways lol). If you are saying though I should have burned my X-factor then yes I agree I don’t know why that didn’t cross my mind. Ill keep a mental note of it for next time. Also I did do webthrow combo’s lol relax.
S is a pretty bad anti air if they block or it whiffs
L spider sting is safe if they block but not if it whiffs, but it’s fast enough that sometimes you can get away with it
it’s NOT safe against many assists like beam assists though, and like, it’s aight against amaterasu/spencer if they’re not going at you with assists, but i haven’t watched the matches. but yeah beam assists don’t let you anti air
i haven’t actually watched the videos at this point though so i’ll stop commenting here, lol.
