You shouldnt get the pissed off. The most recent UWT setup of maximum spider is soooo fucking good against Pheonix and IS APPLICABLE. I think Spidey will be the strongest character against phoenix.
All you’ll need to do is setup maximum spider and have another bar to do UWT.
thats the thing though its not that applicable its still very much escapable it was debunked a while ago not just by I but others as well hell theres an objection video with it as well.

Did you even see the video? Go and test it. There is no escaping that UWT setup. She gets tagged in the middle of transforming, what can she do?

I saw the video both of them calm yourself. I have my doubts cuz dude was mashing on teleport plus I have also tested such a setup where Phoenix transforms into uwt. Go look in the match up thread only reason I never made a big deal about it was because I also debunked it myself. Plus before you go firing off at people read my posts. I just said I will doubt it till I can test it myself due to my prior experiments with such setups plus I don’t have my system right now because I am in the middle of a move. That is why Airborne is testing my theories. Lastly bite your tongue, I never said Shuma was a shit assist I said other than setting up an extra web throw for web head you would need a better assist to compliment Spidey because of how Shuma acts as an assist. The way you were describing it works well with Wolverine that’s why P Gorath was able to use it like he did which highlighted everything I had said about why it doesn’t work as well with Spiderman to which someone else agreed.
Now if you have a problem with me you can address it with me via PM but if I’m wrong I’m wrong there’s nothing salty to be seen. If its a new dicovery then cool just opens gates to better setups that aren’t as costly because either way you cut it you have to admit its costly and if it really is escapable you just blew two bars and your xfactor only to turn around and die.
Two bars isn’t costly at all. It’s just like people who conserve 5 bars for Phoenix. Just need to make sure you always have two bars on hand with spidey and obviously not let him die.
Plus practice makes perfect. It’s just like you see that Combofiend never drops a combo. If you can practice that x-factor to UWT and perfect the timing each time then you’ll never stuff it up. It’s not that hard to do.
If you stuff up such an easy setup then you deserve to lose the match.
Oh and there are so many ways to land maximum spider. One way is that Phoenix takes a long time to do the homing TK shot, you can time MS before it comes out.
I wasn’t talking about the meter alone or whether the setup up was easy or not. I said IF its escapable you blow two meters and your xfactor. The xfactor was the more costly part. IF its escapable then Spidey dies on excess. Yes I’m theory fighting still only because I like having all my options available beforehand. Now if it works I can then adjust several setups of my own to emulate said setup without xfacor and at the cost of one bar ADDING to spideys arsenal.
Yeah well thought you meant something different because I think I pretty much said the last 5 times that it is not escapable. She gets tagged during the frames of transforming into dark phoenix. ie. she cannot move or do anything. How can she escape?

This setup would happen to be <Phoenix kill with Maximum Spider> to <then input she-hulk “Taking out the trash” command during DP transformation animation> to <combo of choice> to <DP death> would it? I tried it and I can’t seem to find a way for Phoenix to escape.

And did anyone else notice that UWT does 150% more damage (from 300 000 to 450 000) in XF1. I thought Spidey only gets a 130% damage boost in XF1. It’s as if Capcom designed that move specifically for Phoenix…
