Also, Thorium 233 is not fissile, but it is fertile. This means it can be used in bombs when it is converted to Uranium 233, in a process which is not relatively long.
For a Molten Salt Reactor with a liquid fuel cycle, U233 cannot be extracted from the reactor and can be recycled inside the molten reactor. But, a Thorium or Uranium blanket can be made to catch the neutrons created by the reactor, thus turning T233 into U233 or P239. Both of those can be used in weapons.

Animatrix kind of shows how things led up to the Matrix movies. As someone who is doing AI and computer security right now, I can say that I can write software that could start with data and acquire new data and make decisions based on new data using a well defined and constantly updating probability set, in a sense learning. The ability to infect systems would be extremely easy and it could update its intrusion set searching and testing exploits released by sources such as the rapid7 team’s research with penetration testing, among other areas/sources. It would be extremely easy to compromise major networks and systems, to a point where the human race could collapse or at least be scaled into a point of war with each other.
I’m sure there are those far more intelligent than me that could probably create “skynet” right now, intentionally or not.

This also reminds Me of that one documentary that outlined how in China many of the diseases and illnesses they have now were almost nonexistent until they adopted a “Western diet”.
