Thats the problem the democratic party as a whole doesn’t put any effort into saying what they have done, correcting mischaracterizations by republicans and tea party “loons” and giving a sharp compare and contrast between them and their counter parts
Besides making themselves look good individually on a nightly cable news show that is…
Where on the other hand the republicans covertly funnel money into these groups who march up and down screaming and yelling get that NEGRO
foreclosures going through courts first is a horrible idea. The costs and time required is insane. Banks needing more red tape to foreclose would be a decent idea.
complete elimination of student debts would be a horrible idea. But similar to how businesses and corporations got bailouts, students need that too. And there should be next to NO interest on student debts.
1% tax on all wall street transactions and bank fees is brilliant. Simple as that. The sooner this can get implemented, the better.
How the fuck is Mexico even existing right now as an independent country?
Everyday we’re subject to them leaving their shitty place in hopes that they can actually do something with us. They might as well not even be a country.
I assure you that if those unemployed people in the U.S. could go somewhere to get jobs, they would. I keep forgetting to stop bothering when it comes to serious subjects because SRK sometimes goes full retard with rocketfuel instead of gasoline.
Nice idea but lets be real… some republican, tea partier, or dumb American would think that 1% is too much and that they are taking away there hard earned money
Someone had to tax them before or else they wouldn’t have gotten tax cuts during the Bush administration. All it takes is the majority to have a pair of balls and their minds off their wallets.
But its crazy how during the Clinton era i don’t remember hearing much uproar about any tax rates and such and now all of sudden people are going off about how unfair taxing the rich is and some it is coming from people who could benefit from it.
In 1993, President Clinton and Vice President Gore launched their economic strategy: (1) establishing fiscal discipline, eliminating the budget deficit, keeping interest rates low, and spurring private-sector investment; (2) investing in people through education, training, science, and research; and (3) opening foreign markets so American workers can compete abroad. After eight years, the results of President Clinton’s economic leadership are clear. Record budget deficits have become record surpluses, 22 million new jobs have been created, unemployment and core inflation are at their lowest levels in more than 30 years, and America is in the midst of the longest economic expansion in our history.
One of the big reason why I belive immigration is suddenly a big deal, well much bigger deal, is that they took all the jobs no one would have done 3 years ago. So know that the great and logical people of the United States are exposed, they need yet again somebody else to blame as to why they can’t get a job. Those who really want a job find one, the loud ones who want their pie, are the loudest.
you know, I don’t think that was the case. After Reagan, wall street spiraled out of control fast. No one has touched wall street since Reagan, and every president since Reagan has been a wall street puppet. Wall Street will simply refuses to go back, and since they own both parties…the majority doesn’t mean anything in America.
because those big bad cartels are keeping Mexico afloat and going. As long as the US continues its amazing policies of irrationality and self destruction, countries like Afghanistan and Mexico will continue to prosper and exist.
things change really fast. starting in 2000 wall street really took off. In that time, people somehow started believing that wall street was synonymous with how well the economy is doing. Which is not the case. Wall street can do well, but the economy can do really bad. So politicians use this ruse to fool the masses into beliving that taxing the rich stops job growth. Which is not the case.
People 100 years ago wouldn’t understand a dam thing. Much like the average American today. Knowledge is power.
I understand what you’re trying to say though. But by that logic we would need to have something terrible happen before we are able to change something for the better. Which is normally how it works. Well if the desparity between the rich and the lower classes keeps growing the way it is then average US citizen will reach third world status (not really, but they will be “working poor” and in debt.)
Read some of my other stuff. The only thing people point out is my heated opinions, but seem to ignore the disturbing truths.
Once Europe signs it in, America won’t be far behind. The smart thing for them to do is get to it BEFORE Europe does. This 1% tax has a VERY VERY good chance of going through, as well, due to the support behind it.
also I dunno how shit works in your country, but in Canada, the only debt you can NEVER declare bankruptcy on is student debt. In fact, a business can declare bankruptcy and in 3 years it won’t be on their credit record anymore, whereas a student debt stays on for 7 years NO MATTER WHAT (meaning a business can go bankrupt TWICE, or once…start up a new business…bankrupt again…all before a student is allowed to even think about clearing their debts)
not even discussing the stupidity of student loans being GUARANTEED MONEY MAKERS (if a student doesn’t pay it back, the US Government does, so its win win for the banks)
If Europe fails, which it is. What does that mean to us? do we get free picking over the shards? Or their crash destabilizes us, and the rest of the world, and where thrown into this song of dance of economic crisis?
ON Mexico, and to its future destabilization, Zeta 7 talks about how they work, and who they work for
Mexicans who want no part of it will leave the country and seek refugee to places like the US.
Some will probably smuggle weapons from the US to supply either group.
US citizens will die as a result of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Then it becomes the US’s problem and intervene.
The situation is really bad. As a US citizen, I am extremely disappointed at how the city I live in (NYC) is in chaos. The people protesting and the police both scare me equally. I am disappointed in Obama for allowing this situation to continue to escalate and not addressing it at all.
Wow, that was so messed up. Cops told people to go to the bridge and then when they got there they got “kettled” and hundreds were arrested. Can’t believe the government is completely ignoring this. Obama probably won’t open his eyes until they march in front of his door.
Anyways, blocking the roadway on the Brooklyn bridge is a bad idea, they shouldn’t do that.
edit:
Unconfirmed: Natasha L from New York Times was arrested for trying to cover the protestor’s story.
It’s blowing up. The stream had about 2.5 - 3k viewers last week and very early this morning. The current number of viewers tonight is 13,775. There is only a matter of time before this gets taken notice of by the mainstream.
