Since no one said it out loud yet, I’ll just point out the obvious: the combo on that vid is using fixed stun-meter for longer hitstuns combined with the crouching.

It’s cool to see Yun ending a long-ass ground combo to strong shoulder + juggle and have it combo, though.

Quick question. The one thing with Genei-Jin that I’ve been totally unable to do in after Zenpo-Tenshin, I can never get the close standing MK to launch them. I always do a far MK. I think you guys know what I’m talking about.

The Genei-Jin combo that involves ZT, close s.MK, dash under, palm…so on. What specfically do I need to do to get this to work? I tried walking up and stuff, but it doesn’t work. Is it character specfic? (i.e. Only Chun and Makoto) Or not? Please explain.

NINJA EDIT: Don’t bother answering this. Some testing proved my character specific suspicions true. Long live Genei-Jin. =D

how do you switch sides on ORO after comand grab in GJ? I do Comand grab while in GJ, dragon kick(mk), mp shoulder…and oro does not bounce to the other side like the rest…perhaps am doing it wrong :confused:

also on elena after command grab, (in gj) the mk dragon kick misses!

Against Oro if you’re on genei jin use the timing you use against urien when peforming the Shoulder if the dragon kicks is the last hit you used on genei jin use a jan shoulder then fierce dash punch

just re-read most of this thread while in class and i must say TY cause some of the little tidbits of info helped me ALOT in understanding the point of yun. Hopefully my game will improve with time :slight_smile:

I dont know but I can asure everything in there is hand written by me, so its most likely that the creator of that image took it from me. I still wouldnt call it stealing cause I dont claim to discover all that I post, I just gather information and put it all together.

hey JD what do you do when a Q block a whole Genie-jin then when i go into command grab he stops me either by jumping and kicking me or command grabbing me ? whats best thing to do to q other than Genie-jin is pretty much what im saying(a hardcore TURTLE Q) Thx :)?

how do you beat a agressive Hugo? Do you play equally agressive…or hold back wait for your turn

i’m having trouble with the kara-lunge punch when you do it in an genei-jin ender.

for example, yun vs ken in corner:
activate, […] ,roundhouse dragonkicks, genei-jin ends, jab shoulder, f+fierce, kara lunge punch

when do i input qcf+lk,lp? can i do it ahead of time while f+fierce comes out, or do i wait until after the animation is complete before i input the motion for kara-lunge?

or, is it simply more in the timing of hitting f+fierce when they are falling down?

it should look like this

qcf, lk~lp (almost simultanious hits)

so it’s like… motion, pa pat (sound it should make)

you have to wait for the f.fierce to recover and the timing is like a normal kara
