How do you play against Parry lovers on their wake-ups ?
Tips versus Yun ?
Do you use OS with Dudley ?
With the LK>MK>MP>HP is more easy to link the SA when stopping at MK or at MP ?
Do you have advice for changing playing style, now i am very offensive “Kokujin style” but i want to play more like Ichiro or Munakata but i can’t put this on my mind when i am playing…
Just do things people can’t wakeup parry. Throw them. Delay your attacks. If they start teching, mix in ssb. Or if you really want to be like Kokujin, just do something bold like rh > jet uppa on their wakeup. That will make them think twice about wake up parry.
Imo Yun isn’t very hard, but you can’t let him get momentum with his air game. Knock him out of the air with jump fierce, or use some of Dudley’s good anti air normal moves (stand rh, stand mp) to knock Yun out of his dive kicks. If Yun doesn’t have meter and his dive kick game isn’t working, I think Dudley can bully him.
Don’t know any specific OS’s with Dudley…
Can you link that chain into super? I’ve never seen it done, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Isn’t the short in that chain a standing short? Not useful at all lol
I don’t think you should focus on trying to fit some specific style and just focus on trying to play smart. Imo Kokujin can be a difficult player to try to emulate when you are learning the game because he does a lot of risky things.
try not to start combos or do meaty attacks with moves that are parryable high or low.
against people who like to guess parry a lot, throw them a lot. walk in then out of their throw range on wakeup. then counter hit them with something like s.hk.
you should throw a lot with dudley anyway, because people like to guess parry vs dudley.
and just faking an attack then doing nothing and walking back is very strong against people who like to guess parry, but be sure you’re out of their throw range.
Yeah at 2 times after the MK or after the MP so i wanted to know what is the easiest one
OK i’ll use more HP,MK,HK,f.MK on their wake up
I don’t try to emulate Kokujin, but i play ultra aggressive like him and i want to change for a more smart and steady game like Ichiro or others calm dudleys
There are always good players who keep playing in Paris but i leave in Lyon and we have less 3rd strike player (cause of SSF IV)
I know there will be “Otana” a good Urien player who will be form july to end of august one of my friend “kalisto” very ken and ibuki is now @ tokyo for 8 month, i think “ranix” is yet @ yokohama i don’t know for others players but i don’t have enough money to go this year… -_- , T-T, sniffff
Undoubtedly answered, but can’t find it. How do you pull off that one frame link into Overhead HK into SA1 or SA3? I got it out twice by complete randomness. At first I thought it was like linking Alex’s crLK into SA2, and you do that by doing QCF, then another QCf as crLK hits into LP to link it. I tried doing that with Overhead HK and nothing. I’ve delaying it a bit, nothing. Only by mashing did I get it out those two random times.
How about you post on 4chan more bro? It’s a pretty simple question, shouldn’t take long to explain, and I did say I searched but it’s possible I missed something in a 33 page thread.
I usually wait for the character I am hitting to have a certain look when they are hit. Like his sprite getting hit should be pulled back, then I piano key the super.
Yeah, forget what I said, do this. It is super effective.
Seriously though, there isn’t any trick to it. Just do the overhead and then do the super. Drumming the buttons will make the link easier, but just go into training mode and practice.
