kin3tix is free don’t listen to him bwa hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha <3
Umad cuz I got that last combo I posted on you. ^____^v
the only combo i remember was a double double with a large rootbeer
it is better to do dash or duck rush to approach the enemy ?
wich one is the fastest to recover and which one cover the most of distance ?
neither. dudley has good walk speed, frame advantage on most of his normals, and some of the best jump-ins in the game. his dash doesn’t compare to those from an offensive standpoint.
the only time you should freely forward dash with dudley is after knockdowns. duck can be used like c.mp x lk/mk duck or s.hk x duck for hit-confirm purposes or closing distance, but don’t get carried away if you’re new to him. don’t bother doing duck on its own. 3S is a fairly liquid game so if your instinct tells you to go against the grain once in a while, go ahead. but as far as my advice goes, safety/minimal risk comes first.
also lol @ that combo going from “super duper omg kuroda-just-broke-the-rules combo” to “bnb from page 1.”
i’ve never seen anyone write hk duck after cr. and st. mp (even from max range) for hit confirming super. is it because it has more recovery and/or startup? i do it at almost all ranges except point blank in which case i use lk duck. i like it over mk duck since i often get the target combo
the frame data i’ve found on ducking is “inconclusive” but for some reason i always like to use foward because using logic. it’ll get you further than short, and would be faster than Roundhouse. but i’m only doing it on assumptions so do whatever works for you
Yup yup.
Could really use help on the Ken matchup. As of now Ken is giving me far more of an annoying time then Yun or Chun.
So if anyone can help I would appreciate it.
I’ll try to write my thoughts about this matchup next week.
spaced out f+mp for pokes
walk back and forward to zone and stand block anything.
stay just outside of c.mk distance
when you see it come out either d.parry or s.HK the toes.
and then you’re in
ps don’t let cmk->super break your spirits, they happen bro.
can a good dudley tell me how you fight a good yang.
c.hp is the best aa and cmk is really hard to get around, hes so fucking small…
first thing’s first… Don’t chase him, have him come after you. When he does counter his jump with straight jump hp or s.mp. There are other options but those two are the safest. Try not to parry his jumpins.
If you must go after him, then early jump rh beats his c.hp, twd+hp beats his cmk. Just keep a eye on his meter, this will be a good indication as to when he will use c.mk. Cause most likely he will be looking for c.mk->ex mantis slashes.
This might be obvice or even easier said then done. But you must focus really hard on landing a knock down. Uppercut, throw or super get that knock down!! Yang takes alot of damage and stun. Once you get that knock down focus really hard on taking off good chunks of damage. This is fairly easy on yang. Just remeber get that knock down!
Does anyone know the Oro matchup? SA2 specifically.
Got bodied by Combofiends Oro because I had nooo idea what the hell I was doing. Any help would be good.
With regards to Oro SA2 specifically, a corkscrew blow will destroy an SA2 if it is coming at you. For example, if you are in the corner and the super is already out and Oro is jumping at you, you can corkscrew block to destroy the SA2 and just take minor damage from Oro’s jump (as opposed to getting combo’d into semi-infinite).
Also, (well, someone like Combofiend probably wouldn’t do this, but he might if he underestimates you or something like that), if Oro activates SA2 after knocking you down (where you get a tech roll, no super is actually hitting you), you can usually do something like duck super or raw super to hit him out of his super activation, because it has a really long startup which is completely canceled from any point if Oro is hit.
If you’re already in the SA2 unblockable loop, there’s no real advice other than get some lucky parries. Oro can mix up the timing he hits you in those loops, so it’s pretty tough.
In general, just don’t get too anxious and you should be able to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Most losses to Oro come from self destruction rather than him actually creating his openings.
also dont jump vs oro at any range he can get underneath you.
key to beating oro is a strong ground game and patience. then guessing right once you get in…sa2 oro’s love to wakeup parry, be sure to throw them plenty.
Sorry for late reply but thanks so much guys! I will definitely be remembering this stuff next time I see a Oro.
And Epsilon, go to tournaments bud!

tighten your combo’s, dudley has gdlk anti airs you should probably use them. use that as a start
