Flash chops lose to SRKs? I thought the right distance would win. I guess my memory of the hitbox is wrong and I’m thinking of something else.

If he likes to random fierce srk or ex srk then block and make him land on your strong flashchop. Then standing forward combo into exflashchop or super. They lose about half life. That will teach them haha.
I hear you guys talk about spiral DDT a lot, can anyone give me some good set ups for it?
I find the move pretty useless but I don’t really know it’s ins and outs, every time I try to use it I eat shit.

I use it the most against people that wake up throw or high parry. LK DDT is juice to punish that bullshit.
Close MK x MK DDT is a nice tick to throw out there now and then.

Pretty much everything on there gets beat by wake-up super, so that argument is pretty null and void. Besides, wake-up super? Blah.

There’s something I see Zangoef doing quite often that I don’t understand : what’s the point of doing cr. lk xx 236 hp on your opponent’s wake up ? I mean, in which case scenario would they eat the 236 hp ?
c.lk is used for a tick powerbomb. If they try to jump or throw before the powerbomb theyll eat it. See for yourself some alex vids where opponents get hit by it. Most of the times they are trying to jump, is like hugos c.lk into lp palm.

hmm, im only aware of Chuns c.lp, but that fuckin move beats almost anything, no wonder considering its chun. Still i always use the mp version to shorten the time between the c.lk and the flash chop.
Yeah, decent speed normals will beat HP Flash. Its best to use the strong version since they can’t beat it with a normal move except chun’s cr. jab which I think sometimes trades or gets beat. And yeah, if they do suspect a powerbomb a flash chop (any strength) will hit them out of the air.
Mixing it up with cr.short powerbomb and powerbomb/throw to keep them guessing
c.lk -> F.chop <<<<< shoto sweep .
To be fair-- a lot of random shit will stop that trick cold(even the MP variation which leaves less room for them to throw attacks out). But the safer options, like jumping away or counter throw attempts, get raped!
Seriously, if you’re getting swept at after doing cr. short just go for the kara-throw. Or block. It’s like Alex’s best and easiest move!
One nice thing to do after a lp powebomb (63214+lp) is to dash one time, then do a lk slash elbow (4 charge 6+lk). AFAIK this is the only thing that will “catch” them if they quickstand far from the corner.
However I have problems doing it. Here’s what I do :
63214 + lp (hold 4) throw ends 664 dash ends 6+lk
… and it doesn’t work O_o
Any ideas why ? I have very little knowledge about charge partitioning and never used it before.
My guess is that you’re holding the initial back input a bit too long.
