Maybe it was just me being bad, but I remember somebody comboed me into a SA3 once,but I can’t remember off which attack. I’ve also been hit by it whenever I’ve whiffed anything other than a weak crouch attack. Haven’t seen anyone try it at high level play,so I wouldn’t know.
It could only have been a flash chop. The only throwable hitstun (and therefore comboable into a grab) is backturned position, which flash chop causes. Well f+HP does too, but stungun is too slow to follow up with.
Off the top of my head, stungun might be the scrubbiest super in the game. It’s not even funny or psychic when someone lands it, it’s just dumb. Boomz 4 life.

I’m pretty sure she has no invinc frames on it…that’s why a lot of meaty moves beat it clean.
Stomp works for that; so does UOH.
does anyone find succes with jump in HP,close st.mk into spiral DDT.Not alot of people see it coming and the blocked mk gives block stun.
It’s a nifty mixup every like…ten matches. You’re screwed if they’re ducking when they block your s.forward. That and a jab beats the Spiral DDT.
Once in a while, you can fool someone into thinking a lk DDT is a UOH. This doesn’t happen often.
You need to believe in DDT.

Anybody know if Alex has any good ground crossup (dashing over downed opponents) strats against certain characters? Midscreen or corner, or both?

Actually DDT can crossup but is somewhat predictable. hmmm, Genki used the Shoulder (:d: + :hp:) to ground cross up Kashi (ken). i dunno if Alex uoh can crossup but my guess is no.
you can dash over quick standing opponents just like everybody else because Alex’s dash can move pretty far in a single hop.
In terms of punishing/comboability, is there any huge difference between the MP/HP flash chop? I know that HP comes out around 4 frames slower and does a few points more damage, but are there any other combos or such that you can do from a HP flash that you can’t from a MP?
Not that i know, but remember that when it comes to tick faking (c.lk, flash chop) you need the extra speed the 4 frames gives you (for example, chun can c.lp inbetween the c.lk and f.flash chop)

I recently saw a KSK ranbat where an Alex player appeared to do low forward link into super. I don’t have it anymore, so I can’t verify what the specifics were (opponent crouching? spacing?), but I could’ve sworn that it was a low forward, then a link into SAII. I thought that this wasn’t possible. Perhaps on counter hit? Idk. It was a recent ranbat, not sure which one specifically though…
maybe on a crouching opponent? or was he standing? maybe it was point blank range?
Low short will go into super and it looks a lot like low foward. Also, there’s no real counter hits in 3S.
Random shit will link into Boomerang Raid as long as the guy is crouching, but I’m certain cr. MK can not. I’ll double check since I used the 1st post of this thread as a reference for the frame data–and that post is littered with garbage information.
