I can’t do anything this weekend But let me know about your thoughts for next weekend(Oct. 16th-18th),I know some of you are going to be at SB but I’ll still put something together. Friday night, Saturday and/or Sunday. Like a play until your fingers break fest. I’ll make it dirt cheep, well order some food and everyone can stay until I’m sick of looking at them. I’d really appreciate a chance to get to meet some of you in preson and I’d like to hear your thoughts on what you think of the place and how it could be improved to better suit everyones needs. I need some feedback on this so don’t be shy, PM me with your Ideas.

Syxx if you manage to get enough players for that down you can run a side tournament if you want.
Thanks for the feedback floe, definitely was thinking the same thing on adding T6 permanently to the lineup.
Any other side tournaments that people would like? Im sure someone out there wants to run side hdr / 3s / GG tournaments, in which case they should get ahold of me!

There are TVs set up at some of the stations so bring your system and your stick. If you want to bring a TV there will be open stations for you to set up at.
I built this clubhouse (AREAXIII) for players and will be hosting reqular events there to help support the Chicagoland fight game community. Come in and introduce yourself, let me know what you think.
Also wanted to add that this is a permanent venue that can run anytime day or night for any reason related to improving the rep of the all fighters in the Chicagoland area so let me know if you need space to host something durring the week. I would love to get some classes going for people who are serious about becoming a competitor in the world of fight games. I would like to host tournments every weekend so people have a constant place to improve their skills in a competive atmosphere.
In January I will be hosting tournments all month long for the opertuinity to be on TEAM XIII. I will be selecting the top 4 players for the team along with two players for alternates. **AREAXIII **will sponser the team in all midwest tournments and will sponser the team nationally if the proformance and support is there. Basically the better you proform the farther I’m willing to go. For full details stop by on Saturday for the early scoop, otherwise details will not be posted until the first of January.

I have painted all my walls white and they are an open canvas for anyone who wants to display their tallent and love for fight games so bring your tools and have at it. Make shure you leave some sort of contact info in your peice so others can inquire about your work. If you work in spray paint Please contact me and I will make arrangements for you to come in when there are no people around.

Rules for Artwork**
- All space is first come first serve.
- No showing naughty bits.
- No profanity.(I shit you not)
- Do not touch another artists work. You can paint/draw around another persons work or layer your work to go behind it but do not cover any part of work that was there before yours.
- Anything from any fight game is cool.
- If you need multiple days to work on your peice I will make sure that it happens to suit your time needs.
- Don’t ask, draw, just follow the rules.
I would like to start posting these murals in progress so others will be inspired to join in. I will be starting a peice of my own on Saturday I just haven’t decided what yet.
Food can be ordered throughout the day. My only request is that all drinks be in resealable plastic bottles and no food or drink on the stations.

You should probably learn how to make nice woodworked custom joysticks, id defintely would by a nicely handcrafted case from somenone local. Also Joe if you still have a ton of wood perhaps you can take the dimentions from this guy in tech talk on how to make Astro City cabinets for the hell of it! Would be pretty cool and id help if you needed some.

Thanks Tac, just doin my part. I got about 75% of the place together so I want to get the people in there for a gaming session and get there opinion on what they would like to see. When I saw my wall space all painted white I had to try and get some of the artists that post in here to take care of that. As far as the wood working stuff goes I will get on it as soon as I have finished the buildout for my place. I’ve been working there nights for what seems like forever to get this done and tomarrow night I should be fully functional. Shit yeah! 6 days, no sleep and havin’ a ball even the voices in my head are are in a better mood. See ya saturday.

the gathering start time at my place today has been postphoed until 5pm. Im sorry to do this on such short notice but when I got to my place I had a septic backup so I need a little time to find and fix the problem and clean the mess.
