just letting people know ill try to run 3$ melty blood on every mcm day with a tourney. or any day that there are enough Melty players. ill try to get casuals for it going at every event, but my portable tv sucks so ill be mostly dependent on tv situations for that.
ill try to keep supporting the melty scene as much as I can. remember its gonna be be a main game at FF.
i think u should get some help from someone on this site, also picking October 31 was a bad choice, there’s already 2 tournaments in the area that day.

Times have been moved around a bit and now includes SF4 Singles and team tournaments on both tournament days for the month.

Also anyone bringing a PS3 getting Tekken 6 in time for the tournament? Id love to add it to the list of tournaments!
You should come out to the tournament at modchipman on the 10th (next saturday) so you can get a better idea of what the turnout is like and how a tournament is run before you make an announcement. Oh also, none of these tournaments are exclusive to members of this website.

I’m personally really excited to see all these emails and phone calls we’re getting here at MCM about the upcoming gatherings and tournaments. I thought the one on Saturday was pretty badass… we had around 20+ people come out to a ‘GATHERING’… that’s freaking awesome…
I received a lot of suggestions and comments about future gatherings… and I really think we should get a membership type setup going… where it would benefit you if you’re a regular coming to these gatherings/tournament. I think what it would entail is… if you’re coming to really more than 2 gatherings and a tournament, you’d save $10 or so off the overall $ you’d be paying.
I’m open to suggestions. .if anyone has any ideas about how to go about memberships and the sort, I’d love to hear it… I’d love to setup a card swiping system where you just pay and it swipes off the card for each gathering/tournament.
ALSO, we’re in the works to get some sponsors for maybe the NEXT tournament after this upcoming saturdays tournament. I’m working with some people locally to donate cash and also some big boys like Capcom and other gaming companies. All in all we’re wanting to get that cash pot for the winners to be big enough to attract people from outside the midwest as well…

for the sf4 team tournaments is it $5 per tourney, so 5 for the singles, another 5 for the 2v2 or is just 5 for just one
$5 per game, for teams it would mean $10 total for the team.

Let me start by re-intorducing myself to the SRK community. My name is Joe and for those of you who don’t know me I’m the guy with the black golf hat you’ve seen hanging around at some of the local gatherings. If your paying attention then you will see that I have removed all posts concerning my tournment for the 31st and all other posts there after to prove that I’m not trying to compete with other venues.
I am still going to host gatherings and Tournments but I will be working closer with this community and other local venues to ensure that there will be no more conflict. I have attended MCM events and will continue to in the future. If you haven't been to one than you should.
I have been in contact with Tactics for the last few days and he and I have both appoligized for all the crap being spammed on this board. We both agreed that it could've been avoided and it wont happen again.
What I'm asking from the community now is that you introduce yourself and let me know what days are good for you for gatherings. It has already been suggested to me that Friday night and Sunday sessions are a good idea as well as Thursdays but only if there is enough intrest in Thursdays because I normally play at Gameworks. Other than that any day is an option as my building is almost always available. I would also like to announce that I will be hosting a free gathering on Friday the 30th for anyone who wants to get ready for the tournment on the 31st. Please PM me with your thoughts and Ideas ASAP.
