HoD,it’s basically an online grindfest but it’s a lot of fun multi player.
I play it with G(Ayo) all the time.
wow.speaking of HD I was just grinding for a damn miser ring for Alukard. I hate the grind sessions in HD
I dont mind the grinds but sweet jesus i’m a little run down of my 200+ runs for every time i want.
touche on that. I have the balls to sit down in front of the tv and attempt no damage runs, but at the end of all that hard work, you get a diamond mail, megigord or tasty meat. damn.
Tasty meat is delicious.
Fixed that for ya. And you pretty much highlighted why I don’t play C:HD. It leaves me feeling hollow.
It looks just like this, but in a minecraft-2d style

You could always try Soma. His drop rate is better than most of the cast…and he’s broken as all hell, too.
For real, I think he’s actually better in HoD than he is in his own games. He really doesn’t have anything as crazy in his game relative to the people in SOTN, OoE, or PoR can do, since they can instagib anyone in their games (he can too, but it’s not as a “overkill”, if you know what I mean). Hell, even his Valmanway is a shitty eggbeater that had delay between uses but they gave him the Crissaegram and more skills than anyone else in the game.
According to the story section of LoS2 site, the game will conclude the saga.

This sucks. I wanted to see LoS continuity to be flushed out with more games.
Probably people like Ruga (no offense) who hate the Lords direction and Mercury Steam wanting to spread their wings else where and not end up like Iga and his team.
At least this means that the War of 1999 is still on the table.
LoS wasn’t in danger of getting stale like the Metroidvania games. More can still be done with that style and actually spacing their releases well. I also like where it was ahead from a narrative standpoint.
I don’t think so either but some people just probably want to move on before it becomes the only thing that they do. :-/
I’m sad to hear LOS2 will be the last one but hey least they plan to leave on a possible high note instead of just driving the concept into the ground.
You really didnt need much to get through DoS with him. and when you have the Cinqedea, its time to glitch lol. I remember using Black panther with something…it was a very broken build(I have yet to beat Aria of Sorrow, though)
Anyone able to hook a brother up with a non demo version of Magic Engine?
I remember reading about the glitches and I was worried that they might glitch my game since you can use it to teleport through doors you’re not suppose to go through. I heard some of the glitches can corrupt your file, so I’m really cautious when it comes to stuff like that lol.
I felt that DoS weapons were underwhelming in a way (AoS too, though the positron rifle looks cool and the excalibur is hilarious) because Soma swung many of his weapons slower than other protagonists in other games, that’s why I felt like he was “relatively weaker” in his own game compared to other games.
Just don’t do the glitch that gets you all the souls (plus julius moves) and you should be alright.
Yeah Soma has some slow weapons, but the arc on them is crazy. You can clip enemies a floor above you and below you with his Greatsword-style weapons, which are my preferred weapons for him in his games.
No joke, I’m sitting on 6 of them. Yes I ran that map constantly when I used to play religiously.
When the new retro levels came out, I farmed out fuma’s gear and Claim Solias + 1 or whatever the fuck it was and just stopped. The grinding was too much for at that point.
Played a ton of CV yesterday due to discussion in this thread.
Played through half of Rondo yesterday morning, stopped at the ghost ship.
Deleted my Lords of Shadow save and started that fresh. Got all the way up to Wighol. Will pick it up again today and take down Carmilla.
And I got all the transformations in SOTN and am ready to delve deeper into the caverns and into the catacombs.
Yesterday was a good day.
