This thread wants me to install Konami Collectors Series: Castlevania and Contra for PC. To this day, I still haven’t passed Aria of Sorrow, Circle of The Moon, Symphony of The Night and Chronicles yet, I’ve beaten Harmony of Dissonance. :looney:
what’s the cd sampler come with? tracks from old games? if so that is going to be sweet.
POR looks like it might surpass sotn, something dawn of sorrow almost did, but not quite imo.
Yeah I agree it’s one of the best series. I’d put it almost as high as those you listed.

The Castlevania series will always be one of my favorite series. I have beaten every game that is out there. Can’t wait Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Should be great.

Konami really needs to release a Castlevania collection that has all the NES, SNES, and Genesis games on it. And include Rondo of blood and release it in the states.
I guess Konami just hates money.
The Castlevania series is still my most favorite. Even over MGS and FF. I liked Lament of Innocence & Curse of Darkness ok, but ultimately I wish they would keep them all in 2D. It just doesn’t feel right any other way to me. I know it’ll never happen at this point, but I would still pay 50, even 60 bucks for a new 2D Castlevania game on a console. SOTN is still my favorite game of all time. POR is looking incredible though.
