I’ll rarely pick up Axe or Holy Water if I need it (or if I’m playing LoI), and I pretty much just try out the other ones and conclude that Dagger owns them all. The boomerang Crucifix is okay, too, but it costs too many hearts to use (as does the screen-clearing version in some games).

Aww I was gonna make this thread but I thought I was the only one who cared about Vania. Oh well anywayz the one for DS I think is called the Dawn of Sorrows is the best one I have played so far. I didn’t play Curse of Darknes but I heard that It was pretty good.

I’ve been a Castlevania fan since childhood and the last one that I played through was Lament of Innocence. Is Curse of Darkness any good? I see a bunch of gaming sites gave it some pretty low ratings. =\ I haven’t played through SOTN though. <.< But Portrait of Ruin looks so awesome. I might get a DS just for it along with Dawn of Sorrows.
