The Castlevania Thread

Yea. I’m not a big fan of that. It was to appeal to the current kiddies weaboo lust for anime style characters. But thankfully, the sprites were not harmed by the same fate. Bring back Kojima, yo! Last piece I saw from her for a CS game was Aria, and it was only a few pieces.

= (

Kojima did character designs for CoD, and supposedly she was being used for PS2 projects while the anime guys did DS projects, but there hasn’t been another PS2 project since CoD (although I think she redid the characters for the Rondo remake on PSP).

More stuff…

Was that you playing?

Daggers, yo.

Nah, I’m not playing in any of the vids… lol.

Good 'cause that guy kind of really sucks.

Way to throw holy water at a fleaman.

New director.

This is hilarious on so many different levels… this is the same guy who did “Stomp the Yard”. I’m speechless.

I bought 2 already.

Which was a sleeper hit and is set to direct Frank Miller’s Ronin so…

We’ll see.

Well, if Dracula is black and Simon Belmont is played by Samuel L. Jackson, I’ll gladly change my mind about the film. (Blackula for the win!)

Otherwise, expect an unmitigated, Pirates 3-esque disaster.

I wish they would release PoR and DoS on PS2 or 360 Arcade. I had both on DS Lite, but them being the only games I had/like on DS, I had no reason to keep the system. But man, I miss those games.

Plus if they re-relese it for a console, they can add the option for the non-game version OST of PoR, although most of the game versions are better, like “Invitation of a Crazed Moon”

I would pay $50 bucks for it. Not like it’ll be less anyway, because PoR is still $35, and DoS is still $20.

So SotN is available for download from the PS store. Cost 9.99 for the classic. Details http://psp.ign.com/articles/806/806740p1.html

The PSN version is also playable on both PS3 and PSP, so it’s totally worth it.

Yes, hundreds of millions of dollars of pure disaster.

ugh. I must have played like halfway through Curse of Darkness and I’m not really liking it one bit. hallway after repetitive hallway of monsters. Is there anything worth unlocking? Otherwise I’m going to just move on to some other game.

Curse of Darkness is definitely one of the worst CV games I’ve played. Your description of the game is no farther than mines.

If you’re not enjoying it by now, just forget it. It’s more of the same to the very end.
