has anyone played/own the import PS2 version of the Castlevania arcade game? In the U.S. it was called Haunted Castle
Iāve played it; itās absolutely terrible, and only a mild improvement over the two arcade versions.
So Iga has said that the next Castlevania console game could actually be in 2D once again. This is like a fucking dream come true for me. He also stated that unless the PS3 picks up, itāll be on the 360.

I saw a flier at gamestop, one of the castlevania creators/producter (?) forgot his name, will be at Universal City Walk (los angeles) this week signing autographs.

Interesting, a Castlevania thread. Well, if anyoneās interested, Iāve got a vid of a no-weapon run I did in Castlevania 1 for NES. No weapons, no deathā¦not even against Grim Reaper (no hits there btw, took 3 hits the whole run actually). Oh yeah, itās totally legit (not tool-assisted trash), but itās accelerated, to keep certain things secret.

Just beat Dawn of Sorrow, and started on Portrait of Ruin. Fucking WIN WIN WIN Awesome soundtrack is awesome.

Then do the damn thing. I really enjoyed Rondo and playing through SotN for like the forth time now? Game doesnāt get old.

on a side note, sotn was is my #1 of all time.
The only games that give it a run for itās money is Nights into Dreams, and a select few others.
I have been waiting for a Castlevania collection since forever. Konami needs to hop to it.

-Why did I have to unlock it?
-Why canāt you remix and 3-d-ify Sotn?

I havent shown much love to rondo of blood.
That game should have had a remixed mode with things like the whip shield, a competant backflip/double jump, control tweaks, maybe a back dash or slide (Playing as Maria is a lot easier), maybe a default subweapon. More progressive unlockables (like sotn or zelda). The game play just feels dated compared to sotn and the newer DS games.
