Well, I guess I’m a true fan, because I actually OWN Rondo! Sure, it’s a burned copy, but Rondo is Rondo, no matter how you slice it.

I’m a big CV fan and actually played all of them… great series, I mean sure there are some low points, but if you play em’ when they first came out, they weren’t TOO bad… And I hope I’m not the only one who loved Simon’s Quest as a kid… that shit was way different/good experience when I was a lil’ kid…
Did the JP port come out already? Or are you just playing it via emulation? Though I don’t think they got to the point where PC Engine-CD is stable.
The Japanese version didnt come out yet… I’m talking about the 2.5D remake for PSP… it has the original 2D Chi No Rondo included…
And where, pray tell, can you find this game? I’ve only found it on ebay and for rather exorbitant prices.

Man I TRIED to play Curse of Darkness (a friend lent it to me who avidly defended it as a “fantastic action title and the best 3D Castlevania by far”) but it just tragically unplayable for me. I really hope they get a director/team together for the next 3D version who actually KNOW HOW TO MAKE A 3D GAME. Jesus Christ bland backgrounds much? The animation is absolutely terrible and just…god I’d rather not talk about it.
Konami should follow Capcom’s lead and release a HI DEF remake of SoTN with 1080 size anime looking sprites. Shit would just be all kinds of yummy.

They have Kojima, and they still went the anime route with the DS titles. That was horrible.
