Bayonetta is the shitā¦but ā¦where are the combo videos at? Iāve seen a million DMC3 combo videos in different aspects, and still aint seen nor heard of any vids of flashiness. As a lot of people say it beats DMC3 out the water.

i played lord of shadow. i think it was ok. nothing worth 60$ imo tho. and it plays like a crappier version of god of war.

Weapon: Vampire Killer (or Holy Claymore if you donāt have VK)
Sub weapon: Depends on the situation, but Cross is overall pretty good due to holy attribute
Chest: Berserker Mail (highest damage output but lowest defense), Platinum Plate (highest defense), or Samurai Plate (increases damage and has good defense)
Helm: Attica Helmet
Feet: Samurai Leggings
Accessory 1: Magus Ring (or whatever if you donāt have it)
Accessory 2: Assassinās Cape
Charlotte -
Weapon: Tome of Arms X (or Tome of Arms 3 if you donāt have it yet)
Spell: Depends, but I used Chain Lightning a lot due to it hitting multiple targets
Chest: Dalmatica

Thatās pretty much my set up. Pretty much just maximized Jonathanās attack power and stacked INT on Charlotte.

Yeah, I feel like a dumbass for having to look that up but I guess I didnāt know jack about the Riddle of the Sphinx. When I found the answer, I LOLāed though.
BTW, Iām finally in the process of a no-equipment run in Symphony. I tried it a year ago but I sorely underestimated just how much that powerful equipment helped you out in the beginning. Anyhoo, Iām giving it another shot and here are the rules Iāve placed upon myselfā¦
- Donāt wait for Death to rob you, unequip everything as soon as you get control of Alucard
- Spells and familiars are okay (theyāre pretty much useless at first but I may disable them once they get too powerful)
- Only equip certain items when they are needed (Spike Breaker armor, the Holy Glasses against Richter, and the Gold and Silver Rings for the clock room)
- Sub-weapons are also okay
I fought my way to level 6 at the beginning because I knew that Iād be somewhat okay once I was able to kill the Mermen with one punch. Slogra and Gaibon were nothing since I knew to go in with the axe. Iāve managed to make it to the Inverted Castle but it was not easy, especially with only my Defense only being 2 ensuring my death plenty of times since I started playing! Once I got to the bosses that could take a punch (only 1 HP per hit on Olrox), I really had to start spamming Tetra-Spirit and Holy Water/Axes. Currently, Iām at level 27 and in the Anti-Chapel, on my way to fight Medusa.
To be honest, despite being a pain in some areas, itās really a lot easier than I thought it would be. My prior knowledge of the game is really helping me out, not to mention the obvious rape factor of Tetra-Spirit and Soul Steal. However, as I said a few years ago when I originally mentioned my plans to do a no-equipment run, Heaven help me when I get to Galamoth!

How long is Reverie?
It depends. I took me 4 hours to beat, but I suck at puzzles. I dont want to spoil anything for anyone but this DLC was very boring, it was like I was in the water temple for Orcarina of Time again in 1998.
Here is to hoping that the next DLC, will be a little more action packed.
