currently playing it and like it alot!
I was so excited to play OoE. However, after two hours with the gameā¦Iām not feeling it too much. Those linear "levelsā are so pointless and story isnāt very engaging. What you guys think?

Now I have to go to get the remaining villagers I guess.
Give OoE some time to develop. In the end it will satisfy both the oldschool fans and the metriodvania fans. Canāt say more without spoiling some stuff, but just keep playing.
I only played Aria of Sorrow before this one (I liked it a lot) and I love this one too.
anyone find any of the old school records? i got old school #5 so far. these items are sick, it lets you replace the background music with an old school track. #5 is one of the nes cv1 tracks. itās the only one i found so far tho. I wonder how many there are

Yeah by me itās always one more day with regards to reserves. There are some exceptions, like Soul Calibur came in on a Tuesday but the majority of the time games come out Wednesday. Sometimes game stores have the stuff ahead of time so they can put it out early, sometimes we are all waiting on the UPS truckā¦

Didnāt people already say in this thread that you get the good ending by rescuing all the villagers first?
OK, I really like this game but these silly fetch-quests you have to do for the villagers are annoying as fuck.
Also, how are you supposed to find the little sister and the mother without a guide? Is there even something in the game that hints to their location?

Yeah I know the bad ending vaguely shows you where they are, but even then what you have to do to get to them is pretty retarded unless I missed something.
I donāt even think thereās a complete guide out anywhere (online at least). Iām trying not to use a guide, but this is irking me. i also feel kinda stupid cause i forgot where that ice cave wasā¦:wonder:

I only found records 1 & 5.
I do have all the villagers though by spamming all the walls that look breakable.
I donāt think Iāll ever bother getting 100% for everything though, I went crazy doing that for the previous CV DS games.
this game seems kinda shortā¦
you have to save the one villager who talks about wanting to finish his melody. the first quest u have to do for him is get him some horse hair. i think there are about 9 records
thats what i thought too when i got the bad end, but once ur on ur way to the good end this shit gets waaaaay longer. u get like 3 more areas and one of them is draculas castle which is huge as fuck.
save all the villagers then beat albus and barlowe or w/e then u can get the good end.
i really think this is the best DS CV game so far, better than DoS. ive been playing it nonstop and im like almost done. i kinda dont want to finish it though :<.
EDIT: what weapons have u guys been using most? ive been using pneuma since i got it, reppukens plus raging storm are too godlike.
