I nearly busted my thumb getting to level 99 via killing Final Guards with the Nunchaku.
I used Claimh Solais as well. Valmanway has the quick hits but it was too damn weak, not to mention it looks retarded. Little floating sword pops out and slashes while Soma’s hand isn’t even moving? Fuck that shit, give me the awesome looking, godlike slashes of ownage from SOTN Valmanway aka Crissaegrim.

I used the soul that switches hp/mp totals (wtf was it called?) to kill them.
I think I used something else in conjunction w/ that, but I can’t remember wtf it was either. 
You’re thinking of Iron Golems. Final Guards have MP equal to their HP, which makes them bitches.
EDIT: Iron Golems are worth more EXP, but they take longer to kill on Normal Mode, so I just kept going through the room with the Final Guards. In Hard Mode, though, Imp + Terror Bear on Iron Golems is the way to go.

The best thing to do with HoD is to not play it.
And I was talking about DoS for the nunchaku thing. For AoS, there’s a much easier method with the Black Knight armor thing and the Positron Rifle.

HoD for the GBA (beat it)
PoR for the NDS (beat it) and
CoD for the PS2
