Well Manny need to sit his ass down. Dude got beat plain and simple. It was up to him to force Floyd to fight his fight and he couldn’t. I mean even Maidana was like “fuck it, I’ll let my hands go” in their first fight. Really everyone looked unprepared. Manny and his corner looked like they didn’t know what to do. All the shit talking Roach had blew up in his face.
This both dudes with a 2 month camp. Mayweather showed he is the better boxer no doubt. I don’t think anybody really put stock into Pacquiao winning. He adapted an made manny play his game.
Yeah I thought about the two month camp. I think it should have been longer considering the grandness of the fight. But with Mayweather all he does is train, so for him he was just gonna keep doing what he does. Oh GGG is fighting this weekend.
This Cutwest lady is seriously disgusting to read. The only reason why i would not read more than 70% of your posts because it is like listening to a woman nag. LMAO at you trying to make boxing a pretty art and throwing away the actual reason why it was invented in the first place. Us men want good fights, that is inside all real men and you showing that it is not necessary or the main factor of boxing shows you are a girly man and also full of shit about your knowledge/experience in boxing. Only girlymen like you get entertained by that and only neofighting boxing fans can’t understand that running away is not a tacticle or defensive style of boxing. Stop creating posts that will force us men to think like girls.
Yet ANOTHER dickless pussy who’s afraid to debate point by point. Not my fault your dumbass has the reading attention span of that of a fuckin squirrel. Who’s the GIRL NOW BITCH? Just like that other bitch who refuses to come back, you are no longer worth my time. You have since been intellectually educated and factually destroyed. On my ignore shit list you go. Enjoy your benched ya illiterate prick. NEXT!?
I’ve refuted your ass and all you replied with is how boxing needs to be pretty. GTFO and watch tennis or some other girl sport. The fact that several matches before were reference that emulate what boxing always was shows your arguments to be nothing but shit. You’re posts are bad for men, you talk in ways no real man would every speak. Until the time you actually show a boxing match other than mayweather’s in where boxers are running away through out the fight and not punching each other out like real men at a fight then you lose. You and Daboog are the top girlymen right now and one of the best reasons why we need our Greatest Poster to come back and save us from this girlymanism that you 2 have displayed. Our generation is endangered now because now a legendary fight sport should be more appreciate for its non-fighting. WTF? I am a man and i like watching fights, i like watching other men utilize their skills in actually beating their opponents in a fight, your talk is nothing different from the random celebrities making comments on the best dressed on some shit award show. I expect you to open up a thread post-grammy or emmy talking about how bad JLO’s dress was from now on. I am speaking truth mother fucker and the only reason why you look down on that and generally oblivious to it is because you are not a man.
How is having fans a bad thing? What if a guy can’t walk, you still hate him for not fighting, how is it not okay for him to take an interest? Seriously dude this is one of the most retarded things I’ve read in a while.
Yeah this kind of. I have no issues with fans. But if you have no experience with the sport please dont act like you know what its all about. I feel like even the best analysts in a sport like Boxing are more often the people who played the sport rather than pure analysts of the sport. Because there is a certain understanding to being a boxer or martial artist that you understand that people who havent dont it just dont get.
Also you sound like you have absolutely 0 clue what you’re talking about. You sound like a fan rather than practitioner yet again. If your stance is blood and guts then you really have no appreciation for the sport. Just because a fight is slow or defensive doesn’t make it boring or hurt the sport. Its all the other bull associated that fight and the fans who only watch may/pac but have never watched another fight in their life.
Agree with @dab00g. I started boxing because I wanted to have a better understanding of the sport. Actually learning tech and doing the training gave a me a different perspective on how things are done in the ring. This is actually why I don’t try to talk shit about fighters and why I never call a fighter a bum. Because it takes a lot of courage to get in the ring to begin with, and anyone who has boxed knows that taking punches from a boxer is not pleasant at all.
I would comment more in the mma thread but I don’t follow mma that much so if I were to comment on stuff I would come off seriously uneducated about the sport.
I think ggg will probably do it under 3 rounds. I’d love for him to go after Floyd. If he wins then great and if he loses then it’s a great experience and payday regardless.
Boxing isn’t so big where I live, but I know the exact mentality you’re talking about and I do it myself and my friends do too. The MayPac match brought about a lot of people on my Twitter feed giving their analysis on the fight and called Mayweather a “hugger” and such, and made Manny out to be the unofficial victor for fighting like an idiot. Every sport has it, it’s just a lot easier to see in boxing I suppose. I find you can talk of your ass with other sports and get away with it a lot easier.
It’s like I took karate and judo and boxing so I have an understanding of mma and how it works. I think when it first started gaining popularity the attitude just rubbed me the wrong way. Like everything was about just beating up any and everyone. Since my background is from traditional martial arts I felt the general attitude was disrespectful to the old masters and traditional practitioners.
I know who most the guys in ufc are but I don’t follow it like I do boxing. I’m starting to come around though. My older brother knows more about it than me and has been educating me on the fighters and their respective styles.
