I donât think the Philippines can double tax Pacquiao. Iâm sure thereâs a tax treaty between the two countries that prevent double taxation. So I finally watched the fight again. Yeah Manny was fighting like an amateur imo. I nderstand how good Floyd is, but Manny was making silly mistakes. Lunging and Floyd, wide punches and when he was cornering Floyd he simply wouldnât do anything. I agree that Floydâs holding was overused and Kenny Bayless should have deducted a point. But either way Manny simply wasnât fighting like he normally does and it showed.
Also went back and watched round 4 of that fight. Not sure why Manny let up at all while Floyd was on the ropes. He should have just stayed on him. But whatever.
The Philippine gov are generally crooks anyway but i do think this story is going to play a role to the birth of Hollywood Manny Pacquiao.
