Nah, Floyd will just play smart. But Manny is smart as well. The way I see it. Floyd is the epitome of technical boxing. He does everything that coaches would want their fighters to do. Manny is more so relentless and hits really hard. I think if Manny can have the better stamina, and stay on top of Floyd the entire match then he will win. But if he lets Floyd get a good read on him, Floyd will make sure to pick him apart efficiently .
Man I was posting full month boxing schedules on here and stuff and like no one cared lol. If this keeps folks interest then I will start posting the fight schedules and articles and what not again.
Here is my take. Floydâs whole face turn is definitely mind games and it looks like it is working because Manny had this âi want to be your friendâ look on his face when floyd was talking. Manny also said that he wants to share the gospel with floyd after the fight with addition to smiling during the face off. To me this is really bad for manny but a fantastic strat on behalf of floyd. I always thought that the talk about Mannyâs christianity being the reason why he isnât dominating as he used to be a retarded excuse but from this presscon it maybe valid.
I honestly think Marquez was on PEDS on that fight. His nose was broken at the 5th round and being able to draw that much power regardless is just so rare. On top of that, he had the trainer then the massive body acne problems on his following fights. People have to be straight up haters to still ride with Manny being on peds yet glorify marquezâ win over him.
Anyway. People claim that Floyd has more to lose in this fight and IMO it is the other way around. Manny has more to lose (or just as much). Manny is going against a guy who is undefeated; a guy who nearly killed his legacy with the whole ped accusation; and a guy who made serious racial slanders against him. This is the fist time that a Filipino is reaching this much height world wide⌠what filipinos are feeling now are likely what the black people were feeling during the mid 1900âs with black athletes and celebrities representing them universally. That is one big responsibility on his shoulders right there. Additionally, in this current time he has been stating that âgod will deliver floyd into his handsâ⌠so now he is additionally carrying his religious faith in this fight. So what if he loses? Lets compare this with floyd, even if Floyd loses this fight it will be just one loss out of the 47⌠Floyd will still be that once and a time superstar because this intelligent/scientific fighter is something we have not seen before. No one will be able to duplicate the in-ring and out-ring intelligence that floyd has shown.
There is much much more for Floyd to lose in this fight. His whole career and legacy is on the line. If he loses this, people will say that he ducked manny all these year because he was afraid to lose this undefeated streak. Also, they will say he cherry picked his opponents. waiting for them to be weaker so that he was advantageous. When you put him against someone of equal strength, say manny, he cant win. All all his wins are fraud.
Manny on the other hand, is the underdog. Hes going against someone that supposely the best complete boxer, with an undefeated record. Up until now Manny is the best chance to defeat Floyd base on his agressive style. Manny has lost before, so its not something news worthy. Losing just solidifies Floyds god status.
I see them as twin superstars that are polar opposites of each other. You have to remember that Mannyâs best weapon is not just his speed, obscurity, and rapid angle shots but the fact that he has Roach in his corner. The last time Mayweather fought roach the results became a split decision (DLH). That fight was so close that even Floyd Sr thought floyd lost that match.
