Personally my heart says Pacquaio, really tough for me to see a clear victor though. Even though the odds are heavily stacked towards Mayweather. Pacquaio being southpaw and unorthodox makes me wonder though, IIRC Mayweather hasnât fought too many southpaws, let alone styles like Pacquaioâs.

Manny is going to win. 
When Marquez knocked out Manny that was a perfect counter. Really doesnât say that manny has shitty defense or anything. Manny was dominant that whole fight and he ate that counter right at the bell. Itâs funny how people like to use that knock out to discredit pac but even Marquez was like you this nigga manny is no joke.
Yeah, people talk like Pacman has bad defence which is so dumb because he got hit by a ridiculous counter punch. That said the reason Mayweather is the favourite is because he has superior style that traditionally has given manny problems (Marquez has a similar fight style). Hes also naturally much bigger. But that said, Manny has more heart and manny ends fights. Mayweather takes everything off his shoulder to mitigate power. But manny fights on angles which makes him hard to defend against⌠I want Manny to win but i think mayweather will likely win by decision. Regardless biggest fight of our generation (me being 27). They didnt rematch. That was the 4th installment. Manny had won every fight prior (although if you actually watch the fights manny stole a few of those fights by the judges lol.)

Manny has fought Marquez like four times and Marquez is a great in his own right. They drew, Pacman beat him twice, Marquez won one. Marquez might have beat Floyd in a few more fights. It was a 12 round UD like most of Floydâs fights. Manny tends to go for the knockout.
As I said earlier, Manny is YOUNGER than Floyd (not that I feel that matters in this fight), but where it does matter is that even though heâs younger, heâs fought 64 times, not 47. Heâs had way more fights. The more fights you have, the less of a diva you are about picking your fights, the more likely you are to have an unblemished record. Mayweather is a fantastic boxer but heâs not a take all comers type, he lets the ball fall squarely in his court. Another example of that is the fact heâs never fought outside of the U.S. He always fights at home. Manny travels. All of Mannyâs losses have been on the road except for one when he was like 20 years old.
He wasnât dominating the whole fight. He was coming on though and beating Marquez. If he had got up after the KD he would have been down a point on all the judges cards at that point. All judges had it 47-46 for Pacman when the fight ended.
The perfect counter. Manny dominated the fight. Marquez is also one of the pound for pound greats of our generation and Manny has beat him twice. Floyd only fought the guy once and it wasnât a title fight like when Manny took his belt off him.
Iâm not saying it will be one sided. Floyd turtles better than anyone and he has a decent amount of reach on Manny despite being a relatively similar height he has significantly longer arms. I think Manny can beat him, I think Manny maybe will beat him, If it goes to the last few rounds though, thatâs where Floyd is a master at scoring points. I think heâll win because Manny will be pushing too hard to finish it at that stage and give up too much on the cards.
I think I said it before but a Manny win, theoretically, will probably be rounds 6 - 8 and will probably be a result of body shots. Floyd on points if it goes the distance.
Yeah I couldnt agree more. Body shots will be the key to winning this fight for Pacman. That said, rounds 6-8 is usually when Floyd really starts to download his opponents.
Manny has always been a head hunter though. He never digs his shots to the body. He has to make that adjustment because Floydâs head movement is just too good, but if he digs to the body for this fight Iâll be surprised.
Mayweather is a counterpuncher like Marquez except Mayweather is on a whole nother level even Marquez admits he is the best. When Marquez talks about Manny he literally says he is too dumb. Manny is gonna get frustrated with Mayweathers impeccable defense get reckless and fall for the same trap again and Mayweather is gonna knock him out. Mannyâs gonna whiff dp and get ultraâd basically cuz unlike Mayweather, who many consider to be a genius he is not smart enough to be able to adapt.
Manny gets a lot of his scalps after his left uppercut. His left uppercut to the body is a huge part of his game. He doesnât usually go for right rips, but I donât think thatâs the kind of tactic you want on Floyd as if he sees that is your strategy, heâll switch to shoulder roll defence. The left uppercut will be the key, thatâs Mannyâs power hand and left uppercuts are always an issue for orthodox boxers.
Disagree completely. Calling Manny uneducated is a joke. Some might say itâs a racist statement to make given how untrue it is. He studies the sport and outside of that heâs a congressman, has been for a number of years with a university education and a number of pieces of paper outside of boxing.
I think what could happen is if Floyd relies on his shoulder rolling that could be bad for him. Manny is the type of fighter that will hit whatever he can. And if its Floydâs shoulder then Manny will pound the shit out of it to the point to where he Floyd may have issues using his left. I mean Floyd said that when he fought Canelo, he had dislocated his arm from blocking one of Caneloâs heavy ass punches (hence why he started using his legs more). Manny still has insane power, and a lot of boxers (Ricky Hatton) said that blocking Manny is still painful, so I foresee Floyd using more of his legs to get away from Manny, because if he tries to stay in pocket and block, he will have a lot more issues that he thinks.
Maybe that is what manny is hoping for. Hoping Floyd blocks his punches so he can just wear down his guard until he guard breaks him and goes for the KO. But if anyone has seen Floyd use his legs, it is a thing of beauty.
