Anyone wanna paypal sidebet on canelo cotto? I like canelo

Wait can we even talk abt that stuff in here

I’m for cotto.

I see my absence have left these floyd hating casuals on full retard mode. Here, lets put all your dumbass “Ol school” arguments to rest with just one simple easy, short, sweet, and clean 3 minute video. Since you CANNOT refute visual evidence.

Nuff…Fuckin…Said.

Enjoy your education. Class Dismissed. NEXT!? #IrrefutableBombsHaveBeenDroppedOnceAgain #IAmBackHandingOutFreeClasses

so is the fight worth watching?

if watching mayweather hilariously outclass an opponent is your thing then yes

Floyd is only favored by new school 21st century fans who really have no knowledge of boxing but are fortunate to have an argument because the man they rep is “undefeated”. They are the only people who think points are scored by head punching only, and disregarded the amount of time spent in a round by running, shelling, and clinching. They don’t understand that fact that boxing requires the fighter to engage, even if the person doesn’t manage to get effective shots to the head… boxers never won the way floyd did. They are typically the street kid mentality who just wants to side with the “rich black man”, i mean how many arguments do we see on facebook pages when some ignorant black kid would go “ya’ll hatin on floyd… but he’s rich”? Berto was not outclassed, his scoring was bogus. I have no idea why anybody can like a person who just doesn’t fight in the ring for 12 rounds, calls all the shots, terms, and conditions, and demands huge ppv costs so his fans can just watch him run the entire fight - but these guys just love to talk about how great he is anyway.

Cotto, Canelo, GGG, Pac, Bradley, Marquez, etc are the actual boxers who actually do the job of a boxer which is to fight, they give the crowd what they want. The sad thing is that these floyd fans think that liking these actual boxers and wanting to see boxing being displayed in the fight means that it favors slug fests. That is stupid shit. Floyd is an insult to the sport of boxing and idiots like cutwest are just fans of the man instead of the actual sport.

Lol. I don’t even like Floyd… He’s an arrogant loud-mouth who can’t read and epitomizes many of the negative stereotypes the media perpetuates about black men, athletes in particular, and he’s a woman-beater…

But you’d have to be blind to not see how skilled he is in the ring.

Now I’m going back to lurking this thread and laughing at the slow kid in the corner, bashing his head against the wall.

i’m not denying how skilled he is but i see his record as bullshit.

I would catch the re-air on Showtime if it was playing, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to download it.

(Good to see that Zatalcon is still firmly in his feelings lol)

The average case of your typical delusional Floyd Mayweather hater in denial.

  1. Canelo was too young for Floyd but not for cotto.
  2. Cotto was too old for Floyd at 32 but not to old for Canelo at 34.
  3. Floyd ducked Margarito who got koed by Mosley
  4. Mosley was good when beating Margarito but too old the very next fight vs Floyd
  5. Marquez was too small for Floyd but koed Manny.
  6. Floyd dodged Manny until Manny got old when Floyd is 2 years older because Floyd never gets old.
  7. Floyd cherry picked and beat an old Oscar while Manny didn’t cherry pick an older and weight drained Oscar.
  8. Oscar a cherry pick at 34, Cotto is a great fighter at 34 and Floyd is not washed up at 38.
  9. zab was not a great opponent
  10. Baldomir beat Zab but Floyd cherrypicked him
  11. Maidana gave Floyd a good first fight but Floyd cherry picked the rematch
  12. Diego was a good victory but that was a long time ago.
  13. yeah Floyd koed an undefeated Hatton but manny did it quicker because hatton wasn’t a shot fighter by then.
  14. Sweat Pea and Ali had great defense but Floyd is a runner.
  15. Floyd called out Tzu after 3 straight fights but was ducking him.
  16. Gatti wasn’t a good fighter
  17. Floyd was 152 against a 165 Canelo but Floyd had the weight advantage due to the 152 catch weight that Canelo asked for.
  18. Floyd fought 23 world champions and they all weren’t good
  19. Floyd isn’t challenging himself at 38 yrs old because he’s fighting Berto but his last fight was Manny.
  20. Floyd is a different 39 because he has the skill to not take much damage…and that’s not a great achievement.

CUTWEST taking this nigga to the barbershop lol.

What about Mike Tyson…

You are still that dumb

  1. Canelo was inexperienced at the time when he fought floyd, him fighting Cotto obviously means he got older but this is not a major complaint anyway.
  2. Cotto during his prime would have been better, i think that’s what people mean this goes for everything you listed until #4.
  3. Marquez was the right size but during fight night, Floyd obviously looked bigger… Maybe he took IV’s before the fight.
  4. Age really depends on the fighting style, Manny isn’t a conservative fighter while Floyd is therefore age on Manny’s part does play a stricter role common sense. This also goes to your arguments in 2-4. It’s just there is a better time for the fight.
  5. No one made this argument, what the fuck you are talking about? I think the argument between him and Oscar is who actually won the fight. Idiot
  6. No one made this argument
  7. No one made this argument
  8. No, the argument is he did nothing but run and clinch during the rematch
  9. It was a long time ago, is that false?
  10. No, the argument is that Hatton was not in his best weight. I think Manny’s handling hatton is factually better than Floyd’s
  11. They did have a great defense. They didn’t just win based on points for just running/hugging, they actually managed to counter with flurries and even KO their opponents. If you rewatch Ali/Foreman, you will see that Ali almost lost the fight and would have if he didn’t knock Foreman out.
15-18) No one makes this argument
  12. It wasn’t a challenge. If you are the best you have to take on all the bests, Berto clearly was not a recognizable name nevertheless, he was the actual fighter in that fight because he was the only guy fighting.
  13. No one ever made this argument. People just don’t glorify floyd because he doesn’t win the way defensive boxers are known to win. It’s idiots that classify his tactics as pure technical. People do not glorify him because he forces the terms and conditions to be 100% in his favor, runs through out the entire fight and some how gets points regardless of the opponent throwing out more punches and being the one who is engaging. The way floyd gets scored is complete bullshit and you will never see any fight get scored like that. Stay a fan boy.

People make those arguments all the time in boxing circles.

As far as “hugging”, watch Ali-Foreman and then try to complain about any Floyd fight about clinching.

And the guy that lands more punches usually wins the fight and punches landed is usually the first thing a person will point to when claiming that a fighter was robbed by the judges. Nobody cares how many punches a guy threw and missed…except for Zatalcon and the dude above me.

As said many times, Ali would have lost his match to Foreman if he didn’t knock him out.Ali never won his matches on “points”, he actually managed to save himself by KOing the opponent. Basically in a boxing match, if nobody is hurting each other really bad then how is the card going to be scored other than to who is throwing the most punches? Bobbing, running, blocking, clinching does not win points, it’s throwing and forcing the guy to engage that does. You can make the argument that all head shots missed more than connected, but the aggressiveness is being done more by the opponent, while the other guy is just shelling up and running most of the time with out throwing even 5 punches per round then he will still lose. lmao at the boxing ignorance of Floyd fans? Get it in your fucking head that landing body shots is counted as open and keeping the opponent blocking more than throwing is counted through points.

How did Ali beat Foreman?

Punching an opponent in the face is not the only thing counted as landing. Take a look at this example, when you watch the Floyd/Pac fight and pay attention to floyd’s corner you will see Floyd Sr losing it on Floyd from the 4-11th round: “What the hell are you doing, you are fighting scared, they are going to give it to him”… at the end of the fight, right before the score card you will hear Floyd Sr tell Floyd “I love you no matter what”, he then hugs and kisses floyd while crying. Floyd Sr knew that boxing matches cannot be won the way floyd fought, it wouldn’t matter if you think floyd had most of the clean hits because being on the defensive too long is not counted. Just based on how broken up and pissed off Floyd Sr was shows that there was a real way that Boxers were scored. Blocking allot of shots, and doing mostly blocking and avoiding would cause the score to lean towards aggressor even if the aggressor missed allot simply because nothing happened, only one person was boxing. That is just how boxing is. I’m not denying the greatness of Floyd Mayweather, he is certainly a great fighter and i know he can fight just based on his matches against Mosley, Zab, etc etc but i’m just being honest that the way Floyd gets scored is completely wrong and that is why allot of people do not like him.

He just shows allot of red flags that is going on in the sport of boxing.

^ These two have obviously since failed my class. It’s hard to educate those that refuse to know their place and listen. Continue to enjoy benched life fellas.

Floyd Sr. was telling him that he was going to get robbed. It so happened that he didn’t, so what was your point again? Mayweather outthrew AND outlanded Pac, so…

I do enjoy that you guys are arguing points that are already verified as false.

You can go look up the body punch percentages, he throws/lands lots of them. You can talk about aggression, but there’s a reason Howard Lederer constantly reminds dummies like you about “clean & effective punching”.

I’d love to hear what you clowns think about B. Hop since he clinches constantly, doesn’t usually instigate engagements and tries to minimize punishment.
