Canelo most definitely has the power to take Floyd out, he just doesn’t have the skill. Hopkins said it best, it takes another master chess player to take out a master chess player. I like watching high level boxing that Mayweather displays, it just sucks that there is no one around that can match that skill.

I am actually about to go check out a boxing gym tomorrow and see if I want to join. From what I have seen, the coach/owner their is really good and from what I have seen he has some good boxers from his camp.

So I just got back from visiting the boxing gym I have been checking out. Yeah I am now a member, lol. It reminds me a bit of the boxing gym that Apollo Creed took Rocky to in Rocky 3. This is going to be interesting.

Who is a first ballot hall of famer? I mean Marquez sure, ODLH, Mosely (MAYBE but he was caught with steroids), I mean his LW and WW career isn’t that stellar. Even Gatti and Baldomir shouldn’t be first ballot. If you go to SFW you have a little more of an argument but not much. Basically he doesn’t have 10 guys. HoF is a joke if a majority of these guys are first ballot.

So I had to pick up some hand wraps for training. I am really looking forward to tomorrow. The first thing that the coach told me he wants to address is the fact that I am a right handed south paw. He will try it out but he would prefer for me to keep my power hand in the back. Funny thing is that I can fight both regular and south paw, lol.

I will be going to my first boxing training session tonight. i will try to get some pics (maybe some video) of the gym in all its grimy glory. Not sure what to expect, but I am looking forward to whatever it may be. Watching some of the higher level boxers is quite interesting. Seeing the coaches at work is reassuring, because they point out things that I never would have thought.
So I just got back from my first boxing session. This is the most brutal workout I have ever had. One hour of cardio is considered a warmup lol. Oh well here are some pics of where I train.

Groves currently undefeated and the bout is ofcourse Super Middleweight, imo the best division for seeing awesome fights.
i just looked at his record and only counted 6 (JMM, DLH, mosley, cotto, gatti, castillo), so i’ll give you that i had the number/quote wrong…gatti is definitely mainly because of the way he died and trilogy with ward.
Just got back from my second day of boxing. I did nothing but jabs after warm up. I think I did somewhere around 40 rounds of jabs. But I am understanding a bit more about boxing.
I was a big floyd fan. But i have to admit, the reason why i just don’t like him is because when i watch fights, i want to be with my crew, drinking beer and yelling. You just can’t do that in a floyd match. I have no idea why floyd fans think they are real boxing fans because they enjoy the “technical side” that his fights show… boxing fans like that are mostly solo watchers and likely boring ass people. How the fuck can you enjoy a fight or any sport with out beer and yelling?
