Nobody is going to fault him for taking a loss to Floyd, nobody (except Floyd) REALLY cares anymore if you have a loss on your record, as long as it’s not a loss to some can. I don’t think this prevents him from having a successful career, and I agree that he will learn from this. He’ll never be fast enough to beat Floyd, but if he can improve his speed and tighten up his technique, he can translate that to the higher weight classes where his future fights will take place.

Being from Cincinnati, it is obvious that a lot of people in the city feel Broner can take Floyd. I believe that Floyd could possibly have problems with Broner only if Broner chills out on his antics outside and inside the ring. Broner is a great fighter, but Floyd is a genius fighter, so the little things he does during a fight make you think you are doing something, when in reality you aren’t. Either way Floyd needs to fight the best out there to solidify his legacy.

The thing that Mayweather has as far as legacy is that he is undefeated and that is about it. He stopped trying to knock guys out a while ago and basically does his same routine every fight. The difference between him and say Tyson or Hearns, is that those guys were convincing in the ring meaning that they would deliver some amazing knockouts to the point that they became known for those things. I am not saying that Mayweather can’t knock anyone out or anything, but let’s be honest: does anyone get hype for a mayweather fight? Of course his fans will be out there, but there really isn’t anything exciting about Floyd’s matches.
