Night of the Huntress is now online, and it’s pretty good, the scene at the start was rather…disturbing…not to mention how bizarre the villains in this ep. were.
This show hooked me after a few eps, but the thing that REALLY got me is when they featured Crazy Quilt…my wife and I have been laughing at him for 10 years now (we saw him in one of my old DC Who’s Who books.
Ah, I missed watching this show.

wtf @ Man-Face. That voice with that look makes it so bizarre coupled up with Babyface’s…well, baby face and adult body.
Fortunately Huntress, Blue Beetle and a freakin’ BAT MECHA made the episode worthwhile. Huntress has got some style there and I felt sorry for BB not having a single chance in getting her affection. :lol:
The Booster Gold ep. was tops, he’s pretty similar to how he’s been portrayed in JLU.
Kru’ll is based on Vandal Savage BTW, I don’t know why they couldn’t just use that name for him…
I think the fun parts about the show is seeing all these weird heroes and villians since I’m not familiar with the more esoteric characters of the DC universe.
I like Booster Gold’s design, even if he’s an asshead.

Awesome clip, can’t wait to see the full ep. Is Bat-Mite is voiced by Paul Reubens? Sure sounds like him to me.
As for this week’s episode: :lol: Booster Gold was great. Loved how he still crazy on trying to promote himself even after he showed his worth. Pretty much stole the show.
I appreciate and laughed at that clip, but I still hate the show. EDIT: Just to clarify something: It doesn’t bother me that this is a campier version of Batman. That doesn’t bother me one single bit. What bothers me is that they could have had, even in the setting of a campy Batman, far better writing and overarching JLU style plotlines (which I hoped for in the fifth season of The Batman after the incredible two-part premier, but didn’t get). Funny as the clip you posted is, it seems as though the show’s creators are hiding behind that one rebuttal, and refusing to acknowledge other criticisms.
If Dr. B were in it, though, I’d watch every single episode to see him capping fools with his Omega Gat. Yes homo.
I guess they wanted to cater to a younger audience more, plus it’s a jab at the good ol’ comics that inspired popular comic book writers to get into the business and writer great stories and such.
Besides notice how it’s the OTHER characters that usually save the day for the most part, not always Batman.
I mean geez, not EVERY cartoon has to have a darker/mature-er plot, even simplicity can be fun.

plus its a little unfair to have this cartoon be just like JLU since that show was a different beast of its own. Different comic cartoons have to diversify there way of telling a story which is why i liked The Batman somewhat because they went about the batman mythos in a different way but it did shock me to see them implement the JL the way they did.

I thought the future segment where Booster Gold runs into Krul was hilarious.
Also, I’m pretty sure they got Billy West to voice Skeets again.

I thought Kru’ll sounded recognizable as well and it turns out that it was indeed Worf who voiced him.
I think that might have been the best episode yet. Good humor + Booster is awesome.
Latest ep. was great; the nods to the 60s Batman TV show and action were very satisfying.
