-Naked Dave’s Barfight Challenge (Don’t ask him how he earned this name)
-Robert Chen gets on the mic to let Alabama know how much he thinks they suck, and issues out money matches
-Aceshigh rides up with gumptown, everyone will be shocked at how non-gay he is until he gets up to go get a beer and everyone notices his pants have the butthole cut out of them for easy access.

Oh wait, I still need to play Auburn sometime. I really wish I could (attempt to) host another tournament (with some actual attendance), but I’ll be in NC for the month of July and I got other plans before then.
The tournament scene in Alabama seems to have been dead for a long time.

Since some people in auburn want to play guilty gear if I bring them to birmingham to play then maybe they can learn how to play better here too and start a scene.
Alabama can’t have tournaments because the state is like a wild unorganized land of fighting game beasts that venture out like Mongolians and rape the tournaments. Also we don’t even have any rivalries, everyone is cool and doesn’t care which city/region/person is the best.

Thanks. I’ve been pretty hyped for MK9 ever since the first trailer, since it seems they’re finally dropping the 3D garbage and going back to the UMK3 style. I think I’m one of the only people around here that played that (I even still have my Saturn copy 
), and I think that it’s possibly the single most misunderstood fighting game out there. UMK3 is balanced and definitely competitive, but there are a lot of people out there who don’t like it simply because it’s completely unique and doesn’t play like anything else. It looks like they’re putting effort into making the new game solid, so hopefully they don’t waste the potential.

lamar and zo are at least as good as all of us except raph of course but raph is on another level from everyone in the whole fucking southeast (at least from what i saw at final round)
based on how good they are at other games i wouldn’t be surprised if wes (the one from birmingham (Darkside) not the one from montgomery/auburn (Man Town Mayor)) and isaac are as good as them probably too, but i’ve never even seen them play sf4. i remember when i first started playing fighting games we went up there and played them in 3s and they all beat my ass though because i was a gigantic fucking noob.
if we keep this friday shit going the rest of the state and the whole southeast is gonna fall behind though, that’s some excellent matches i had for real in gg, mvc2, ssf4
Compared to the rest of AL, Huntsville blows. Sharktongue is the best player here by a country mile and a half (No disrespect meant by that. He’s an incredible player, but the rest of us are subpar), and we have a bunch of players who have potential but that don’t practice/care (RickRude, Andy, Experimilk, myself). Supposedly, there are a lot of good players that used to come to the only arcade we had and that posted here a while back, but I haven’t seen or met them.
Not trying to put Htown on blast but ya’ll know how it is.
I propose Alabama have a tournament for MONEY. We all put some type of time in SSF4, no matter if you think you are good or bad. Yall think about this shit for a second, it doesn’t have to be JUST SSF4, it can be anything WE (as in Alabama) want to put in the tournament. It’s time to see the results of all this time we put into video games, which I believe a tournament is the answer to where you fall into the skill category. Hell… Raph is my boy and a hell of a player, but if it came down to a tourney, I’ll try to body Raph. If you see where I’m going with this topic, some input would be nice.

If you traveled you would know the players in bama ,who are good in their respected games. You also would know that apart from 3years someone in bama has won or at least placed top 5 in a major tourney game at Final Round.
