Gintama 114 was jokes, mayo.
Final thoughts on K-On:
Wow. So the lead guitarist’s SISTER plays better then her, the freshman that just joined the club plays better then her, but she’s still the lead guitarist.
And what band plays anything, encore or not, with their backs to the audience?
Well, whatever. Exerting anymore thought on this show and what came of it or what it could become would lead things going astray and just end up being pointless. To put it simply:
I think the show had a good amount of potential to be much more then it isn’t, but what it is isn’t necessarily bad, it’s just common ground with one or two nice attractions along the way. Was it a waste to have watched it all? Nah.
Will I have forgotten about it entirely in two weeks?
You bet your ass.
k-on would have been better if they left out that shallow music plot device and just focused on lesbianism.
Or if it was a metal band…and they forced Mio to get a skullet like the guy from strapping young lad.
Yes! Any of those.
It could have been the epitome of the yuri genre…
Or an awesome “moe Detroit Metal City”.
Right now the show is pretty much just “moe with cruel hints of potential yuri” :shake:
I dunno, the “Detriot Moe City” short in DMC itself covered that and more.
VC11
[details=Spoiler]Did you catch the producers joke in this epd? The picture with Napoleon on a unicorn instead of a horse?
Anyway, I liked this epd. sets up things nicely. I guess that’s only because I never played the game that I didn’t notice little stuff (like Cordelia’s hair and etc). Alica is so fucking hot, Welkin needs to man up! I would of been smashed that…[/details]
VC 11
Actually, I didn’t notice that. Not sure what it means, either, but good catch!
Seriously, Welkin should stop beating around the bush and say that he likes Alicia already. He’s getting too airheaded for his own good. But yeah Alicia got beat pretty hard, the poor girl. That old dude who was with Cordelia is gonna get it, I’d bet.
K-ON 12
Not bad at all! We get a good (sounding) performance and we get to see some minor character development for Yui. Like Chibi, I was pretty surprised that Ui is actually better than Yui when it comes to the guitar. Makes me wonder why haven’t she bothered joining up the club. Mio wasn’t scared too much in this episode, either, thankfully.
Oh, and that hat bit with Yui hallucinating that Mugi’s eyebrows was something edible was hilarious.
I wonder if we’ll get the extra episode next week or if it’ll be DVD only? Either way, K-ON was a decent series that had it’s moments. Though the flaws can be really apparent at times compared to other slice of life series, forgetting about them is the best option when it comes to this show.
As for Haruhi S2 ep.2
Haruhi 2 ep 2
Haruhi and co. have some summer fun with different activities, ranging from bug catching to going to the O-ban festival and other stuff. It was pretty nice and will probably have some stuff which will be hints later on during the course of the next episodes.
I liked that Yuki got what seems to be an Ultraman mask in the festival, though.
Anyway, anyone wants to complete the Minami-ke trio and sport this av of Haruka?
(???)o???(???)o???(???)o???
Yea It actually has an ending
boobs x 6?
the pic with the middle sister looks the best.
i started watching something called “darker than black” (when i first saw the title: “wtf chris rock in anime?”). i like how it has nothing to do with japanese high schools or teens with magical powers. the story is wack though.
No matter how Takahashi it got, it had an ending.
Started watching Ghost in the Shell SAC, and I gotta say, I like it so far. I think some episodes drag for a little bit, but it’s still good. What do you guys think?
Because of the earlier release of K-on, my friday left me jonesing for some moe. Mikuru just can’t cut it,it felt really forced. I spent most of the episode hoping they’d put a bag over Haruhi’s head to calm her down and kill a few braincells. Nagato had like…2 lines? I liked that.
Yeah c’mon. The Unholy duality just doesn’t have the same ring to it. And who wouldn’t want to be associated with Lolerskates and I?
Oppai chant!
I liked the first series, but the second series wasn’t that good. The ending for the second series fell flat.
Finally got caught up with my anime.
Ippo #24: Wow. What a way to end the fight. Even though there are a few more episodes left, this was my favorite series of the season. No other show had me anticipating the next episode as much as Ippo. I hope they start the next season relatively quickly.
Eden End: Another great series. Though fairly predictable, I liked the ending. By the way, why the heck didn’t the NEETs grab the clothes in the mall? I’m looking forward to the two upcoming movies. I wonder where they’ll go. I could easily see this show continuing. The ending wrapped up this arc, but left a lot of questions.
Slight EoE spoiler
I was really happy when Ohsugi got left behind. That character annoyed the heck out of me.
Natsu #9: This is one of those series I enjoy, but I doubt it will have any staying power.
In case anyone missed it, there’s a new Haruhi.
Actually Ranma just ‘stopped’, but that’s a given due to its nature as a series.
InuYasha had an actual ending with FULL closure. Full to the extent that it was pretty damn surprising.
How so? Inuyasha pretty much ended the way that I thought it would. Surprising would’ve been if Naraku killed everyone and went on his merry way.:looney:
