Black Lagoon
Eden of the East
Ride Back
Basquash

I started watching Ranma 1/2 after a friend described the plot about how they transformed. Once I heard about the panda I just had to check it out.

I’m on episode 11 and it’s really good so far.

gonna watch basquash 11 tonight (yes!), imma bit behind on sengoku basara also so if i can i’ll try to get updated on that anime.

Cool. It’d be nice to play SF4 against some of you guys. Though, I’m really bad at SF…

Are you guys also getting the Madcatz bundle? My arcade stick won’t work on my PC and I doubt my 360 controller would cut it.

In more anime related news, Ippo 23 continues to be good. My only worry is that it looks like the series is about to end at episode 24. I can easily see them ending with this fight.

Also, there was an update to the anime summer 2009 poster: http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/9541/summer2009v2exportedit.jpg

Rikiya Koyama, Takamura’s VA, mentioned that it’ll end at 26 episodes and that it’ll have another season later on.

So there’s this somewhat new manga about figure skating called Ice Revolution, but the main character is a total tomboy and pro at karate, see her SEICHUUSEN GODANZUKI.

It’s awesome.

Read the manga, it’s SO much better. Anime is ok but it sometimes goes WAY overboard with everything.

Did you ever watch that anime about the Japanese figure skater who got possessed by a Canadian acrobatic pilot?
I watched one episode and now whenever I think about it I get angry.

Somebody recommend me some shows/movies with really good, possibly old school,. I’m not too concerned with genre, but I would like to see some stuff get blown up.

Yeah Ranma manga is better~

That show was actually really good, and the ending was extremely touching and sad.

Really sad, it killed me.

:frowning:

I recommend… Umi no Misaki and Kurohime among others.

I can’t believe this series has 84 chapters. I can’t believe I’ve read as many of them as I have.

I can’t believe this guy made another series that is basically the same fucking thing.

That show was awesome. I actually subbed one episode of that show.

Kaleidoscope? Why do you consider it sad? Ending was rather fitting if you ask me.

Show could have used some better animation but I’ll let it slide since it was pretty good. Best moment of the show was episode 1 having Ayako Kawasumi say “Kiss my Ass!” I lol’d so hard when watching that.

Also, opening theme song was incredibly catchy and the ending theme was song by Maria Inoue aka Yoko from Gurren Lagann.

I meant sad in a good way.

I mean it was perfect and fit, but still pulled those heart strings.

Hug me Killey~

:frowning:

basquash 11

[details=Spoiler]next epd looks very promising

Not much to say about this epd, other than we get to know that sela’s mom died. Fucking sucks, sela’s one of my favorites in this show. If she ain’t happy, I ain’t happy lol.[/details]

i’ve decided to start watching this anime. ippo is definitely my favorite series, so it made sense to check yakitate out.

i wasn’t expecting to be hooked into watching an anime about baking bread, but i’m definitely liking this series so far.

Well just been browsing SRK and holy **** the akuma virus is real!
