I was talking about K-On’s new episode with a friend and i think what really gets to me with the episode was that really…Yui, Ristu Mugi and Sawa are just plain being mean to Asuza. They completely ignore everything she says and do exactly the opposite of what she asks of them. I thought they where gonna come around a bit when she showed up the next day after she yelled them about the tea an shit. I don’t expect them to stop doing it but i would expect them to play some fucking music or something but instead those 4 just continue doing what pissed her off in the first place. And then at the end of the episode that wak 15 second jam session was the best they could come up with?
When it comes to K-On ep9 those 4 girls can go fuck off. They’re mean to her.
I guess…Just felt really selfish to me to do to someone you just met. Yeah they do it to Mio but that always came off to me as giving a friend a hard time or something. Really Mio wanted to go play with them just as much as they wanted to play she was just being “strong.” Asuza wanted to play music.
I’ve yet to watch the new Keion, but after my final exam this afternoon I have officially completed my 3rd year of University (which was extended due to 3 month TA strike) soooo, happy days ahead.
WHOOOO Gonrats Genesis. i can’t wait to be done with school. I only have a year of Computer IT so I guess I shouldn’t complain as you just finished your 3rd year. Almost done!
fuck you people who are out of school already. im in MISERY until the 9th. posting this shit from lab. much rage and insomnia :\
a recurring theme with k-on is that the writers try TOO damn hard to give the characters…character. like in the beginning yui was mentally retarded. ok now mio is scared of everything including random shit that isnt even scary. the teacher is a crazy bitch and tsumugi is a…lesbo? sure why not, it makes about as much sense as everything else on the show. maybe ritsu will turn out to be a trap or something. its too bad the writers are dumb, because if it werent for the stupidly exaggerated personas, most of the characters would be pretty likable and i wouldnt have to fast forward through shit. i probably wouldnt watch k-on at all if i couldnt skip past the dumb parts, which usually results in me watching 5-8 minutes of a 20 minute episode.
to be honest i dunno why i even watch it. i like the art and the music, but seeing as how the girls never PLAY MUSIC, and watching the characters interact is…painful, ill probably stop soon.
…
i heard there was a higurashi live action thing. since higurashi is awesome, i would be all over it except that i also heard it sucked. since its eleventy billion gigs (lol encoding?) i was wondering if anyone here has watched it before.
actually, i dunno how well higurashi would translate to live action. i get a feeling it would end up like a cheesy horror flick.
I dunno, if you forget that K-on is about a light music club it’s actualy pretty entertaining, although ep 9 did irritate me a bit because does it really take a whole club session to drink a cup of tea and have slice of cake?
Couldn’t they have done that AND practiced each session? Just how slow do they eat?
Just felt a bit forced like the writers were desperately trying to find something to annoy Asuza before she could understand them and be a proper member.
well imo the story without the music thing isnt too strong. which would be ok if the characters were likable, but theyre not so its not ok.
im probably being overly critical though. it feels like the writers thought they had something great planned with the production values and stuff, but ran out of ideas early.
so a friend and me were watching Cosmos Pink Shock and he was complaining about how annoying the main characters voice sounds sometimes. So the next time we watch something I wanted to really piss him off, a surprise attack.
Off the top of your head, what anime has both really annoying female characters, but also have really annoying voices?
i got up to 4 then couldn’t keep tolerance, it started off ok but every passing epd to me just went downhill. didn’t care too much for the story, not a lot of interesting characters (if any), etc.
ok thanks. thats what i thought i was but wasnt 100% because i havent been here for a min. but im back for good. i still havent played that game yet or gotten a wii… i want them both bad! i need to get back on xbox also but i dont have no internet over here so i dont play it unless i have internet. i definitely have to now since mvc2 is on live. there is a couple of games in need to but on xbx live.
Apparently, somebody took his bag after he left dinner with the fat guy and everyone thought it was him who Shiratori picked up. Ohsugi has his suspicions towards Akira and delivers one of the creepiest lines yet, while Akira and co. meet up with super nerd Panties/Itazu (voiced by Noboyuki Hiyama, whom also voiced fellow nerd Madarame in Genshiken) to help them fix up a cellphone and in turn, find out what Akira truly is.
Seems like we’ll be getting more information in the next episode about Akira’s origins. Shall be interesting!
Yui, Mugi, Ritsu, and Sawa (well, except Sawa here I guess) weren’t being mean to Azusa, but rather Yui, Mugi, and Ritsu are just plain stupid and airheaded when it came down to practicing. They’re too used to doing their own thing in the club, so Azusa’s arrival threw them through a loop. Things should get better next episode.
Overall, I thought the episode was pretty funny; it’s one of the better ones in my opinion. Also, LOL @ Mugi.
