Basquash is all about tits and Destroy! Destroy! Destroy!:lovin:
You didn’t watch Seto yet, Stabby?
And yeah, the last few episodes of Kurenai are the strongest yet. Finish 'em up!
I dunno, your taste seems kind of random. Have no idea what to suggest next, because you might not like it. Are you cool with slice-of-life series, though?
Haruka’s boobs have grown to balloon size.
Unfortunately, as the expense of Miyuki’s. :shake:
This Kurenai discussion reminds me that I never finished watching the show, so I’m downloading it again right now.
Then I’ll hit up Mushishi.
Kurenai was good when it was dude and loli screwing around, with loli yelling at stuff. But now he has to go get her, and I don’t care. If the series was longer, then maybe I would, but nope.
I’ll give Seto one shot.
Don’t think about suggestions for me, just name stuff and either I’ll like it or I won’t.
Higurashi Rei 03
[details=Spoiler]Yeah, the Rika chair beatdown on Satoko was WTF. I wasn’t expecting that at all… just the Higurashi I like! It’s always great to see someone snap in Higurashi because it definitely has some unexpected results, although I was surprised to see Rika snap to the point that she’d hurt Satoko.
I’m not sure how the series will end; Higurashi has always had great twists and stories, so an unexpected ending could possibly come out of left field. A “dream” ending would be horrible and I’d probably kill myself… Higurashi style.
When Rika’s mother revealed that she was the reincarnation of Oyashiro-sama, my jaw nearly hit the floor. I mean, it would not have been surprised that the fragment was within Rika’s mother, but I did not expect Rika’s mother to be the reincarnation of Oyashiro-sama. Although Rika has observed that there is no Hinamizawa Syndome in this world, there is no telling that it’s gone completely. If the syndome still exists, Rika not only has to make the difficult decision to kill her loving mother to get back to her own world, but be responsible for practically killing everyone in Hinamizawa. @_@
FUCK WHY IS HIGURASHI SO FUCKING GOOD?! HAVING TO WAIT ONE MONTH FOR EACH EPISODE IS SO GOD DAMN PAINFUL.[/details]
You might like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
i’ve just read up to the current chapter in the berserk manga. is anyone else very disappointed with berserk nowadays?
Hate Kure-nai AND watch Queen’s Blade?
*breaks out Glock 17
Someone get him to watch those last eps. Don’t say I didn’t warn you man. Even if you drop Kure-nai (which you shouldn’t, the last eps are great and have awesome fight scenes)…Queen’s Blade? Really? :wtf:
I for one, am not. What I’m disappointed with is his SLOW ASS releases cause the dude is too busy fucking around doing nothing.
How can you be disappointed in Berserk when it is picking up again, sort of? Anyway, that series has been running for over 20 years, and muira writes it more as an epic story than as a serial. I’ll be disappointed when he dies, or when it ends (except for that shitty forest-butterfly arc, jesus christ that was bad).
And he was too busy playing idol master, not doing nothing!
Already seen Tengen Toppa, seen it twice, in fact. I liked the ending better the second time around.
I don’t hate Kurenai, but I don’t care about the fights. If there were another 13 episodes, then maybe I would care because that is enough time for him to develop to a level where he might not lose, but as he is now he is the bottom tier of characters that do fight. I don’t want to see him beat up scrubs, I don’t want to see him get his ass kicked again, and I don’t want to see anyone else fight because with two episodes left it doesn’t matter. I was happy with the slice-of-life stuff, but they didn’t have enough time to develop it into what they wanted.
A new chapter of neuro came out. I saw the raws for the last few chapters, and I’m a little sad that the demon-world never had a chance to come up after Sicks. But the series was pretty low in popularity, so it is only fair.
Psyren isn’t amazing, but as far as I’ve tracked it, it has stayed low-mid/bottom in popularity. I’m curious to see where the story will go but, eh.
Medaka Box… I can’t see it lasting.
And another thing! It makes me angry that Kenichi doesn’t get any love. I really, really like how it shows genius as genius, but hard work can still overcome it. Lots of other shonen series (Naruto, One Piece, Bleach) are about being born with ability, or something special and working at that, but Kenichi is always about just working harder.
Haha, I’m already in the top ten for this thread.
I watched Dragon’s Heaven. It was good, I like the human/robot relationship. Unfortunately it was only one episode so they didn’t have time to elaborate on ANYTHING except rush a story that could have been better suited to 2-5 episodes. The animation was all kinds of amazing, I loved how the scenery and mecha all blended together so well, all the little itty bitty detail lines covering the machines stayed in place instead of looking all messy, very nice.

new Negima has great yuri fanservice
Phantom 7+8 was very delivering. Finally some new plot and it’s really got me. Wonder where they are going to go with this. Very excited.
screw miyuki, once haruka came you knew where the attention was gonna shift
I can’t stop playing My Love is a Stapler. It’s really fun, but I want to hear the whole song.
Re: Haruka’s breasts, Earth’s gravity is ruining them :(… I hope we get to see the moon by the end of the season AND I hope that society will be different from the one in Gunm (not saying Gunm’s was bad, but I’d personally be disappointed if they copied it). Maybe Miyuki will catch up if she spends some time on the moon. A man can hope.

BTW does anyone know where one can get a cheap copy of the Sol Bianca DVDs?
Hey how is Sol Bianca? It’s show I always wanted to check out yet forget to every time for some reason.
Well that depends on which Sol Bianca anime you are referring to.
The original OAV in 1990 was quite good. Female Space Pirate crew that had a Bubblegum Crisis flavor to it in terms of style. It was a memorable OAV for me but I watched it way back in jr. high so it might be a bit dated now.
There was a sequel that was released in 1997 that really sucked, in my opinion. It lacked the same charm the original had as it didn’t really focus on the crew as a whole and focused more on 2 of the younger crew members. It was more psychological (sort of) and less zany action.
Then you have Sol Bianca: The Legacy that was a 6 part OAV released in 1999. This blew away the original OAV’s. It has great animation, style, music, and characterization. The storyline is lacking and it’s not really doing anything innovative but the execution is pretty spot on, imo. The good thing is you don’t need to see the original OAV’s to understand this story as it’s sort of a remake.
I’ll give The Legacy a look then. I don’t mind if something doesn’t do anything enw as long as it’s fun. I can forgive a lot if it manages to be fun.
“Niceacatch”
That made me crack up. Oh Iceman.
