Don’t bother with GRZ.

Absurdly overhyped and really disappointing in the end.

Just like MC in real life!

Next time we meet I’m not offering you shit.

:expressionless:

You broke my heart >:F

Well I’m starting Shin Mazinger Shougeki! bring it on Go Nagai you crafty bastard you :bgrin:

Edit: I’m loving these JAM PROJECT openings

Hey guys, I just finished Part 1 of Hokuto no Ken. Very good. My question is, are the other parts related to it, or are they completely independent from each other?

PLEASE no spoilers!

Started reading Ippo since I don’t want to wait for another season. Damn that was an epic fight for Ippo’s 4th title defense.

After all the E7 talk back on Tuesday, I have to rewatch it. Do you guys know if anyone has subbed the blu-rays?

So far, I’ll probably be going with Moo-shi’s subs.

There’s HnK 2 but if I were you I’d check out the movie and the OVAs. The newest one is called Raoh Gaiden.

Now this is great news to wake up to! :bgrin:

In a subtle fashion they are connected, yes. You’re better off just watching Part 1 only, but if you’re curious, you could go ahead and watch the rest.

Nanoha movie in January 2010; while a Nanoha A’s game shows up on the PSP.

Yuria 100-shiki (nothing to do with HnK’s Yuria) might get either a live action or anime adaptation.

Really? =( Any reason why I should stop after Part 1 and not watch the other 3? Does it take a turn for the worse? I meant I saw the first 22 episodes, not the whole season.

No spoilers please!

Ah, I think I misunderstood you. You see, there’s 2 Hokuto no Ken series that are regarded as Part I and Part II: HnK and HnK2. Apparently you seem to go by HnK1’s 4 parts - which I thought was the former.

But yeah, you need to watch all 4 parts of HnK1 then. They’re all connected with each other pretty well.

Oh thank goodness lol…I was hoping you would say that because id be so disappointed if the rest turned out bad.

I totally didn’t notice the PSP the first time around.

I any case I finished Fap note, it was pretty good. Is there anything after chapter 31 or is that it?

Not yet, that’s why none of them are over 4GB =P

PSP and the text was added by the scanlators as a joke. A retarded joke=/

And no, unfortunately.

Okay, it did seem kinda random all of a sudden. But I still laughed my ass off.

So I was unable to sleep due to the injuries I sustained from my first kumite and decided to catch up on some shows while icing up…

Spice and Wolf Season II

[details=Spoiler] Watched the OVA along with episodes 1-3 of the new season and I can’t believe I forgot how much I loved this series.

OVA and episodes 1&2 were nice refreshers on the amazing character dynamic that is Lawrence and Horo. She’s such a flirt and I love it! :lovin:

Episode 3, shit just got real! Honestly felt bad for her when she found out that her hometown is possibly destroyed, but holy shit, to straight out ask Lawrence to mate with her so she wouldn’t be alone blew my mind! I’m sorry, but if I was Lawrence issues like the waning wolf population would be unheard of in this instance.

Really on edge to see the next episode and where this series goes. I have the first season on Blu-Ray, I really need to sit down and give that a good watch through.

Also first Spice and Wolf light novel comes state side in December! Can’t wait![/details]

CANAAN:
I really have no idea what’s up with this virus issue, but the overall flow and action in the series makes it worth while. Story doesn’t have me overly intrigued, but I find it more entertaining then shows like Phantom.

Isn’t a top priority to watch like Bakemonogatari or Spice and Wolf S2, but I’ll definitely be sure to snatch the episodes as they’re released.

While Mayoi is insanely adorable she’s definitely not the kind of kid you’d want to mess around with. If it wasn’t for the fact that Araragi still had healing abilities his hand would have been fucked.

It’s a stupid of me, but I find it insanely cute how she stutters and get’s things mixed up. That scene with her talking about “touring” and “fouring” was insanely adorable! :lovin:

I hope she sticks around after her story arc is finished.

Agreed. It seems like Araragi has a penchant for attracting weird girls or strong ones. :looney:

So I watched the 6th Kara no Kyoukai movie earlier

KnK #6

Spoiler

Hmm, I think this might be the weakest of the 6 movies released so far - which is pretty much regarded as simply “good”.

Basically it’s more about Azaka as she takes the center stage for this one. A little bit of character development here or there (including her love for her brother) and even a nicely animated and awesome action sequence against Misaya’s legion of fairies and that…giant flower monster thing.

Shiki hardly did much in the movie, either. Mostly being a tag along and had a very minimal intermission against the real mastermind of the events; Kurogiri. Though we never get to know how did the fight concluded in any form or shape. What’s up with that? At least his powers were pretty cool.

After credits scene brought in the missing violence and gore; including an appearance from Araya. Pretty much a flashback sequence.

All that remains is the finale. Man, the wait for it shall be really grueling!

Umineko #5

Spoiler

Maria going crazy again, while Battler still doesn’t acknowledge the existence of witches; despite Beatrice’s appearance in the middle of the episode during that “alternative reality” tea party with a few of the characters “being alive but not really alive”. That last part was pretty much the work of Beatrice herself, which leads to the confrontation between her and Battler; or rather, magic and reality.

Rika…err Bernkastel appears as well - and she’ll probably do the same reset business as Rika did in Higurashi. So next week, we’ll probably see the entire events played out in a different outlook or however that may be.

Exciting stuff, regardless.

I just watched the first episode of Gurren Lagann (I know, I’m MAD late). I wanted to watch it all at once, and not on the Sci-Fi channel, and now I have the chance to do that. It was only the first episode, but I like the characters presented so far. I’m not a huge fan of mecha or Sci-Fi genres, so we’ll see how this turns out.

And I watched episode 4 of Bakemonogatari (my first one). Upon reading the title, I realized that this was a nice little pun lol

I’m not to big on mechs either but I’ve gotta say Gurren Lagann was pretty damn fantastic.

On kind of a side note, I want to get into mechs, specifically Gundam but there’s like a million and I don’t even know where to start. Anyone know which Gundam series is like essential to add to my anime repertoire?
