I’m pretty sure this anime has been talked about in this thread before, but this is my first time here so…

I swear, if I watch this opening anymore my head is gonna explode
And has anyone checked out Cross Game? I’ve only watched one episode so far and it doesn’t really seem like my type of anime, but I do like it. The characters and their interactions with each other are well done IMO
Actually I just watched episode 17 on a whim, cause the title caught my eye. Wasn’t what I expected, but it was still good. I might have to start from the beginning to see this “shock” you’re referring to :bgrin:
I find it more mindblowing how much spoilers did it show off there. :looney: But regardless, it does look and sound great.
He’s playing a PSP, apparently and was getting frustrated at both the game and the situation he’s in.
CANAAN 4
Spoiler
So we get to finally see more of Canaan’s past and how she got that grudge to kill Alphard. The small fight sequence between both looked pretty good; looks like Maaya’s voice for Alphard is a bit more deeper than Shiki’s in KnK. Interesting how she plays the antagonist now; pretty much a rare role for her. Maria also meets up with the weird China girl, plus we get to see the awesome taxi driver again! Good ep, overall.
Bakemonogatari 4
Spoiler
Man, Mayoi is sure a bizarre little girl. That bite she did to Araragi is proof of it. Though it doesn’t seem he held back beating her up for that.
More discussions about Mayoi’s issues, Hitagi’s hatred for kids and how Oshino decided to help out by teaching Hitagi how to deal with the snail that hit Mayoi. We also get to see the class rep again, as well.
Basquash 17
Spoiler
A giant appears! And it looks like he’s (Navi) is one of them who’s origins come from the moon. We also get to see that Price is the one who chopped up Iceman’s arm and leg and Thousand being the one who might have implanted the cyborg parts for him. Poor Rouge’s condition doesn’t seem any better, while Sela’s now having fun groping Flora for some strange reason. Next week’s preview shows that they’ll be going back to the surface and meeting up with Haruka, so not much underground antics for them.
I intend to now. I actually have only seen the first episode and put it off due to confusion(main characters getting randomly slaughtered whole-sale and what-not). I actually started the manga not knowing the correlation between the two. I just kept thinking it was a coincidence(aided by me thinking the anime was titled “Gai-Rei Zero”). But after wiki’ing it up. I’m interested.
So, I’m likely late right now. I blame my stepsister and my newborn nephew.
Somewhat disappointed with the full version of My Love is a Stapler. I blame the fact that half the time, they used Yui as the main vocals, though having Mio sing some of it made it well worth it. Plus, we waited for the full version of this for a while (well… maybe at least I did), so I shouldn’t be one to complain.
Currently going through the rest of the album. Not like I have anything better to do right now.
… Wait a minute. The album was slated for a 22.7 release, but the guy uploaded them on the 19th. The hell?
You really should watch Ga-Rei Zero. From what I’ve heard, it’s a lot better than the manga (due to the manga being generic shounen stuff). When I watched Ga-Rei Zero, I was confident in saying that it was definitely the most pleasant surprise of an already very strong season. The anime is pretty dark, and unless your heart is a black, cold lump of coal, the series will probably tug on your heart strings pretty badly. Some of that stuff was just fucking painful as hell to watch, and even watching the OP made me emotional. Definitely watch it.
