the hell…anyways i wish veritas was animated i bet it would look tight and why does HSD kenichi seem like so lil chapters that stuff is going by quick!
I NEED MORE NAO!!!
That sounds like one of the episodes of Detroit Metal City
hmmm…Lucky Star, not sure, not sure, not sure, naruto, haruhi, not sure, fist of the north star, any anime, any anime, Gurren Laagan, Zatch Bell, not sure, aaaand not sure
In any case here’s the actual preview for Halo Legends they played at comic-con…
Hayate 233 is (finally) up on MangaFox.
chapter
[details=Spoiler]Yup…I hear that fat lady warming up for Hina, Nagi and the rest. Hayate is completely into Athena, and is likely gonna do some insane stuff to get her attention (she always told him to speak up, lol). Also, Machina is gonna get owned by Hayate before this arc ends. Bet on it.
I think I’m officially an Hayate x Athena fan now. Go go non-harem endings.[/details]
“any anime, any anime” is Higurashi.
You know I completely agree with you, and I want that pairing to come true more than anything else but:
Knowing this show
[details=Spoiler]They’ll finally get to talking, she’ll find out he’s taking care of Nagi and somehow he’ll completely forget he has this remarkable history with Athena and go back to Nagi because that’s just how this series is.
I mean I would fucking shit marshmallows if Athena and Hayate actually happened, but considering the nature of this show it’s highly likely that she’ll accept how things turned out and that will be the end of it.[/details]
And yeah, anything going on with Hayate and Athena is infinitely more interesting anything he’s ever had with the entire rest of the cast.
I like the stern expression on his face when he’s saying all that. So awesome.
Haha, I dunno. Otaku seem to be pretty knowledgable in everything old and new. Remember when Slayers came back in the form of Evolution/Revolution? Everyone was hype in hearing Megumi Hayashibara singing the OP/ED and listening to her voice as Lina again. So no, a lot of otaku are still in touch with the old school as well as the new school.
Yeah, you do that. =) You’re bound to find something good from what we’re watching now.
:clapdos: Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Arggggggggh. Die monster, you don’t belong in this world!
Lucky Star, (Higurashi?), Rozen, Higurashi again, no idea, Naruto, Haruhi, Higurashi again, Hokuto, Higurashi again, Gurren, Zatch Bell, Azumanga, Geass.
Someone should do a video combining all this.
As for the Hayate manga spoiler going around now
Hayate + School Rumble stuff
Spoiler
I don’t know. People were billing that School Rumble was going to about Tenma and Karasuma; but the rankings showed otherwise - putting in Harima, Eri and Yakumo in the lead. Who were the top two? Harima and Eri. Who did they focus on most? Both. Who did Harima end up with? Eri.
So I have a feeling that the rankings MAY have an effect on how Hayate is going like what happened in SR. So far, it seems like if Hata followed the fans’ wishes, we’d get probably get more focus on Hina being Hayate’s wanted choice. But with Athena’s return appearance, who’d knows how this’ll happen the next time around.
Of course, this could pretty much be a moot point and just be baseless speculation. :looney: Hata still seems to be pushing for a Hayate/Nagi couple, after all.
Looked at that Hayate no Gotoku you mentioned, yeah… don’t think we’ll ever see eye to eye. Some people will eat whatever you put on their plate, just hand them a handkerchief. Some others, well, they have taste. I know you were just trying to sound cool though, so forgive me for stealing your thunder. You keep doing what you do.
I mean, I remember watching the show about a year ago. I don’t know how some people can get past the pilot episodes of some of this stuff. I guess like many anime it takes 4-5 to get it going. I remember my wife thinking Bleach was just going to be a show about a kid catching hollows. Sometimes you got to give a show a bit of a chance, but good lord.
I think I’ve become selfaware of the age groups some of these shows are marketed to. Like I got all into Shakugan no Shana when I was deployed to Iraq back in 2007. When the show was over I kept basically trying to shrug off my frustration with the fact they put so much emphasis into this little romantic angst this girl had with this obviously feminine and pathetic little male lead. Until I realized, well crap… this isn’t written for adults in any way fashion or form. Of course it’s going to be frustrating for me, I know better, but these kids they don’t, and to other kids, this shit is pretty dramatic stuff.
Oh hey, thanks for picking one show as a means of making my tastes look bad. You completely missed my point but that’s fine.
I thought Shana’s first season was great. Interesting original story, decent leads, worthwhile drama. The second season however, was pure trash, and the third season shouldn’t ever see the light of day.
I don’t see why you’re bothering to dismiss shows created for other demographics though.
Like I said, the rest of you folk can keep living in your time capsule, just don’t bother those of us who are enjoying matters outside of it.
You are missing out, not me.
Never insinuated anything other than that. But if my goal in posting here is anything, is to search for exactly what it is I am missing? You’re pretty adamant about that. So obviously there is something valuable out there that you feel I could gain.
This thread has a FAQ and seemed to have this original concept to kind of explain and assist newcomers into the folds of the genre and artform of anime, but all you seem to be telling me is that I’m wrong in feelings without any real attempt at really explaining what it is you mean?
I’m pretty close to watching Bleach and Naruto again after a three year hiatus, or heading to a fansub site to watch a random show, but am I to take confidence that I will be so wrongly righted by it that you would offer no direction? If I turned my seat and popped something in on a previous list would you feel it held a candle to what it is you’re trying to convey?
I’m not trying to convince anyone here of my perspective, I’m just trying to see what it is that I apparently am missing out on, because I can’t even see eye to eye with fellow fans. How am I to ever convince newcomers to enjoy the same? Where would I even start now?
Welp, just past the shits of rage I got from watching another troll episode of Haruhi. What episode of Endless Eight are we at now? Also, how the fuck does Kyoani think this is acceptable? I would love to see the Japanese reception to Endless Eight cause they should be pretty pissed off as well. There can’t be anyone who is enjoying this much repetition for a highly acclaimed show like Haruhi. You pretty much tease everyone with a second season and then troll them so hard with this. I will forgive Kyoani when they give me the next season of FMP.
Any good sword fighting anime that’s not Bleach?
I’m looking for something with good animation or story.
Thanks.
EDIT: Any of you guys finished reading Monster?
Depressed, depressed.
I had finally blotted it out in my memory, then my brother while cycling through Anime on Xbox Live, ran across Samurai 7.
Some of the worst and most heartbreaking death’s I’ve ever seen in Anime.
Katsushiro needs ass beat to death.
Damn @ Fap Note. Shit just got real.
Samurai 7 had the most convincing trap ever in the form of Katsushiro. I was like “Waaaaah?” when he was being referring to as a guy.
Kukichiyo was pretty badass, though. It helps that he’s voiced by Geese Howard/Duck King’s VA. Liked Kambei as well
Kiyuzo and Heihachi for me.
Kiyuzo… Fucking Katsushiro… Piece of dog shit
Started reading Urusei Yatsura again since I never got around to finish watching the anime. Only hard thing is finding where I left off at.
