New Negima was awesome.
Rakan’s about to get fucked up.
New Negima was awesome.
Rakan’s about to get fucked up.
I’ve got 5 bucks on Rakan fighting to a draw or there won’t even be a fight.
Whoa, I’ve been neglecting my special mangas… Gokujou Drops and Nana to Kaoru has some new releases, but both latest chapters are without closure so I recommend waiting for the next chapters. I hate chapters without closure when you know the next release might be a long wait, unfortunately most chapters in most mangas are that way… Really, I should wait for months and read manga in large chunks, but I guess I’m not patient enough.
Next I need to get up to speed on Sora no Manimani…
Also, sorry for missing this live watching too, I spaced out and forgot all about it.
Hayate S2 ep 13 was serious bizness. I feel stupid for you know, not looking at the first post to see the streaming animu.
Oh well.
Negima
This revelation definitely has a direct correlation to Chao’s motives. I’m thinking that Asuna’s power will be used to partially dispel the magic keeping Mundus Magicus in the other plane. Some areas will return to being real world Mars(killing people of suffocation/freezing in the process). That would certainly be a future Chao would wish to change, and also I can see how magic being common knowledge on Earth would help prevent that. Mars Shock has to be the greatest revelation I’ve seen.
KonokaxSecchan was cute as ever =)
Hey where do you pick up new chapters of nana to kaoru? It’s been hard for me to find a single source.
Mangatoshokan is what I use, but it loads slooooooooooooooowly sometimes.
Whoa, I posted the same thing between 2 hours! >_>
Going to watch the Eva 2.0 camrip tonight, even though I will have no idea what the hell they are saying.
Yeah. But I like it for when I read Negima since that manga likes to go tl;dr with tiny text so often. Completely illegible on onemanga.
Basically, it looks like you had an Osaka moment.
Speaking of which, I probably should check if the 2nd of the 4 extra volumes for AzuDai’s republishing have been scanlated or not.
Edit: Looks like it is!

Glad to see we share a lot of the same sentiments!
I don’t know what it is about Neon Genesis, but it’s one of the only shows I get hyped about when I even think about watching/re-watching it.
Supposedly the last two movies will be released simultaneously, as to when though I have no clue. Would be kind of ironic if they are both released in the year 2012 though.
…Wow.
After seeing that I took the time to skim through the series, and I have to say it doesn’t pull any punches. Is the animated series as risque as the manga?
Nice find! These extra volumes have been a real God send to say the least. I love 'em! :lovin:
No, its close in parts, but usually all shows have to tone down a bit to be broadcast. There are also censored and uncensored versions. Some of the really filthy stuff happens later in the manga (well…continues to happen) and was never made into an anime. Its surprisingly good.
Top 3 this season is definitely looking like kanamemo, Fight ippatsu Juuden chan and sora no manimani.
umineko has got to be the show im most hype for. cant wait for the next episode (suposed to be aired tomorrow). too bad anna williams got peaced out so early, i like her VA (same one as takano in higurashi) a lot for some reason. main character is pretty awesome too, his name is fuckin BATTLER. with a name like that you know he doesnt give two shits about witches or people dying. its like being named TIGER UPPERCUT - you can only be destined for great things.
only gripe is the art. for some reason its worse than higurashi’s. other than that the show is perfect so far - a bloody metaphysical mystery. no philosophical wisdom or “i fight for my friends lol” bullshit either
i can watch eva 2.0 now, but im not sure if i should. on one hand i really want to see it (lol). on the other hand i cant follow .jp so it might kind of a letdown when i dont know whats going on.
I can’t help but being reminded by this guy whenever I hear of his name.
My top 3 non-sequels of this season are definetely Umineko, Bakemono and CANAAN. If we’re including sequels, Zan Zetsubou swtiches places with Umineko.
Huh, in that case I’ll most likely drop He is My Master (don’t get what’s so appealing about it) and make this my new “rainy day” anime to slowly skim through.
I say go for it! Despite the language barrier I still think you’ll find it to be an enjoyable viewing experience if you’re a fan of Neon Genesis.
I use this page:

I like to download zips and read with CDisplay, reading online feels odd to me for some reason. Guess it’s the wait for it to load between pages, even if it’s really short.
yeah I hate bothering to DL unless it’s in batchs so no thanks. Stabby’s link helped though. Or whoever linked it, the mangatoshokan one.
I love Canaan’s action so far, as expected.

Another filler epd, I didn’t look like much was gonna happen based off the preview anyway. Squad 7 goes through another depression-like state with so much tension going on, I thought it was boring but I did enjoy the Welkin/Alica scene.

[details=Spoiler]Underground. Swords. Axes.
It’s hard for me to consider this a sports-type anime after watching this epd, everything is just getting twisted. The plot, the characters, everything lol.[/details]
Somehow the has made it into my playlist, it’s pretty nice. One day I’m going to finish watching that show.
From what I remember, the subbing was kinda slow and I lost touch with it. Otherwise it was a kinda good show…?
Don’t know how limited it can be when it’s true for the most part. Don’t even have Record of Loddoss War on that list. But hey, people enjoy stuff like D Gray Man these days, and shows like Black Lagoon are considered good storytelling.
I really don’t know if I’m just getting older and growing out of anime, or its getting worse. NEW gems like Death Note are getting rarer by the day, and you won’t find anime like Berserk these days. I think the closest thing was Claymore. Meanwhile the world keeps spinning, and anime fans “settle” for whatever is given to them.
Oh well, once in awhile something is bound to refresh the genre. I’m sure of it. Death Note was actually kind of a shock to me amidst the megaseries like Bleach and Naruto. Maybe something just as interesting will come out soon enough. When was the last time a cyberpunk series, epic sweeping fantasy, or drama really kicked off in the anime world since the 90’s and early decade?
Honestly, I would really love to know. Maybe it’ll help expand my love for the genre, but there are very few things that really convince me. It’s gotten to the point shows like Lucky Star become huge simply by nostalgia bids alone.
