I honestly lost interest after the 4th or 5th episode, but if the ending is worth watching, maybe I’ll pick it up again.
Princess Lover is certainly a guilty pleasure… too cliched and too predictable, not it’s too good, especially with Charlotte’s lack of… sex experience, and her sexually suggestive actions. Teppei’s boner… was either a good laugh or a complete turn-off… you decide.
All of that and Bakemonogatari. Can’t believe you haven’t picked that one yet; Hitagi sounds totally right up your alley.

Shit, it’s an all time classic as far as space operas go. Although constantly comparing it to Tytania which I was watching at the same time ruined Tytania for me.

It didn’t ruin Tytania for me, but it really did feel lacking. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t watch more if they continued the series.
