Due to KyoAni spending so many episodes on Endless Eight, they may have to cancel their original plan of showing new episodes past the Disappearance arc of Haruhi. Based on the original schedule, Endless Eight was supposed to last one episode. It has gone on for 5 so far which puts them at least a month back.
Once in a while I think about actually trying to finish LoGH as I’m 26 eps in, but then I realize that I still can’t get the time in for it 
I’m gonna be writing a review on Ippo 2 in my blog, although its gonna be more nitpicking than anything.

I don’t even know anymore. I watched it 8 years ago. I thought it was garbage, but I watched it two more times to see if I was maybe missing something and hated it more. Aside from one cool fight scene and general good quality animation, I can’t think of anything that was good about it, and I can remember a lot of bullshit. I’ve blocked the rest from my memory, and I’m in no hurry to bring it back.

Anybody skill keeping up with Guin Saga and Tears to Tiara?
Guin Saga is starting to get really good but is also treading on a path of being convuluted with too many character stories that I don’t care about and various set ups here and there. So far I’m enjoying it (up to the latest episode 16 I think) but I fear it might cross over into something stupid later on. Honestly though I really don’t give a crap about the twins. If they weren’t children it would be more tolerable but because their are kids it gets irritating at times. It needs some key character classes to really get things going but that’s just my opinion.
Start to lose interest in Tears to Tiara. It’s somehow keeping me a long with it’s small bursts of action with incredible action but everything else in between is rather dull. I can’t help but compare this to Uta because 4leaf did both games and this feels like a lighter version of Uta minus the furries. We get worse character stereotypes with 1/3 less action. It’s a bit of a put off.
Canaan 3, Princess Lover 3, and Bakemonogatari 3 were all fairly solid episodes. Canaan playing it up on the character dynamic and by dynamic I mean their lesbianism between Canaan and that photographer girl. Princess Lover 3 was pretty good at the beginning but this general harem scenario is all too predictable yet at the same time enjoyable to watch. I’ll just call it a guilty pleasure and roll with it. Bakemonogatari is just such an odd ball show but I’m just enjoying it for the production values and it’s stylistic presentation. Show wouldn’t be as nearly as interesting without that stylistic presentation.
Oh! So this wasn’t a planned thing but a colossal fuck up on KyoAni’s behalf. Good god they better be done with Endless Eight this week or I’m going to shit bricks of pure rage.

i watched sword of the stranger yesterday.
holy shit! this is the best animated samurai film i have ever seen so far. i was simply awed in silence at the end credit. that movie had some of the most intricately staged and gorgeously animated fight sequences in anime history.

Chalk it up to Evo stealing a week from me but reading the newest chapter of fap note made me hella depressed. Even though fap note is going about it very well it breaks my heart to see shit like that happen. I’m really eager to see how it continues, though the wait is going to kill me.
In other news season 2 of Haruhi can go fuck itself, I have absolutely no interest in it at this point. Good job Kyoani, bunch of fucking douchebags.

I absolutely do not mind if someone just isn’t into Eva. There are a people though, who will hate on anything too popular. Or the people that hate on eva because their fav chars were killed off and their fantasies ruined. Those people are annoying.
I’m glad more people are watching Sword of the stranger as it went relatively undiscovered when it came out. The animation really is some of the best in the industry. I’m still hoping that group gets together again and makes another film or even an OVA!
