An Ayumu centric episode at the start, continuing the Izu springs arc. That moment with her and Hayate on the bicycle was pretty nice. Later on it shifted to Nagi and memories of her mother; whom she seemingly lost at a very young age. Apparently it gets weirder now with a moeblob alien crashing into her place. :lol: Sounds fun.

OK, so this a much better episode than the previous two. Helped that Cruz whined a LOT less than before; Adam kicking some ass and more hits with the comedy than the misses (especially when Momiji pulled off the threat of hurting Gido, when he did and Adam didn’t do a thing about it). It’s still a (really) stupid and cheesy show, but I wouldn’t mind if we get more eps like this.
Why do you believe EoE was that bad? And though the series wasn’t as good as some put, it’s definitely no “mediocre cake”. Evangelion took a lot of things to a new level. The entirety of eva was/is a revolutionary. I think that’s something that is pretty hard to deny.

Well she is much stranger than the rest of Isumi’s family; she isn’t as lost as they usually are. But it was good finally seeing them though - Isumi and her mom’s discussion in the onsen for ep.16 was hilarious.

You do know EoE is like a blatant rip off of Space Runaway Ideon Be Invoked movie right? They are totally different, but there’s so many similarities.
There’s many rumors why he made it in the first place (hate mail, depression blah blah) but honestly he wanted to follow the same ending with a movie format. Same style as Tomino with the randomness and shit that doesn’t make sense. Oh and the bat shit insane finale of both. Ideon was way more epic though.

if i remember what the story in higurashi daybreak was correctly, im guessing the last episodes of the show will be some kind of character comedy/slice of life deal. thats not really a bad thing because i like the characters but it feels odd given the kind of series it was in the first 2 seasons.

The magatama are actually the sacred treasure of the Furude Shrine. With its magical powers, the holder of the red magatama would unconditionally fall for the holder of the white one. Upon testing its effects on the school faculty, the club members of a Hinamizawa school decided that they should duel each other to see which pair gets to keep the magatama. In the beginning it was only an afterschool club activity, but their game eventually engulfed all of Hinamizawa.
But yeah, as you said - it’s going to be a bit more comedic than the norm. Kinda like how OVA 1 was. It’s gonna be a single ep, though.
Funnily enough, Daybreak is the closest thing to a Higurashi combat game the franchise will ever get. :lol:

Just finished reading Blue Heaven. It was okay I suppose. I guess I was expecting a bit more psychology in the story than I was hoping. Still good though.
