I only watched it myself and found it one of the funniest romantic comedies out there; and the most expressive one as well. A few of us liked it quite a bit, especially Chibi.

The latest chapter of xxxholic (#183) mentioned that details of an OAD for xxxholic will be released next issue. If xxxholic’s getting one, I would bet that Tsubasa will be receiving one as well. They did end Tsubasa Shunraiki like they were continuing…
Finished 20th and 21st Century Boys. Great manga, though it felt a little long. The ending also lacked a punch which was disappointing. However, considering I finished the whole thing in 3 days, that certainly says something. Easily the best manga I’ve read, though that’s not saying much.
Cool. I guess it really was on hiatus. Hopefully now that the manga is finished I hope they just comb through the events of manga as crisp and with as little filler as possible. Im sure that they’ll put in a more satisfying ending to the anime compared to the end of the manga whether or not its drawn from the manga… at least I hope anyway.
Imma check out Hyakko now that I watched Soul Eater up till the filler took over and had to read the manga (Read at ch 37 to get to the point where the anime splits from the manga)
I’ve gotta +1 this. As a person who was practically forced to watch this and who hates shoujo, I have to say it was really great overall, although there was a little bit to much crying for my tastes but I guess that’s to be expected of shoujo.
yeah i thought it was something like that. theres only really one character who gets any mileage out of that kind of stuff anyways.
higurashi is the perfect series to make a FG out of. too bad it will probably never be made during my (or anyone’s) lifetime

I’ve seen a bit into the Kare Kano dub through Anime Network OnDemand(before I had broadband). The farthest into the series I can remember is the male and female lead getting it on and the male lead worrying about corrupting the girl or something like that. From what I saw I liked it a lot. I intend to finish it if I can find a sub that doesn’t leave sentences untranslated.

That’s the problem with Africa, all of their child soldiers are scrawny black kids. If they’d take a hint and get some gunslinger girls and cute lolis, people would pay money to watch ethnic strife. Then there is the axillary markets like posters, games, dvds. It could be quite lucrative if they’d just ditch the crappy tribal warfare plot and go for something involving inheriting the largest corporation, or becoming the queen of something…maybe a brother complex or two.

Yeah, the gg releases especially tend to resource hogging mainly due to the size, resolution and the .mkv extension. There’s a few people who re-release the eps in a much more tolerable compression and I appreciate their efforts for doing so.
