Honestly, I don’t think we should even expect serious character development for any of the K-ON! girls. The rest of the series is going to cater to moe stereotypes and generic cliches/plot devices. If you can look past the downfalls of the show then it’s quite enjoyable to watch.
New Haruhi episode was pretty good and I’m glad they did something a bit more serious rather than start the series off with some generic fan service garbage that they could have easily done.
Basquash 8:
Enjoyed the episode but I don’t know what the series is trying to accomplish at the moment. They keep doing 239203902 things that it lacks direction but at the same time you know they are STILL laying the ground work for the show. It’s a bit odd but I also think I’m looking to much into this.

[details=Spoiler]Finally get to see the 3 singers show up and I’m glad they aren’t some generic happy pop trio and have some substance to them (at least for now). Looks like they are competent Big Foot Basketball players as well based on the preview of the next episode.
I laughed so hard when Ice Man’s Destroys were actually passes to begin with. What a fucking retard. [/details]
Ippo needs to start the goddamn fight already enough with the build up already. I understand the importance of those character bonds and it was a nice episode for that but I want to see the fight already.
That is a good manga. I’ve only read what they have on mangafox, but its quite enjoyable. I’m also a fan of girlfriends…its a pretty charming story (then again I’m a sucker for girl on girl action).
It’s no shoujo sect, but its still leaves you warm and fuzzy.
[details=Spoiler] It said something about Super Illusion material from the sub I saw. I do freaking wonder, because it would make sense for it to not be Ohsugi and at the same time, it would make as much sense for her to be psychopath that just wants to kill him.
Mad respect for Takizawa for not only saving the dude in the truck and arriving in the nick of time while apparently being injured. It would suck if he went through all that and Ohsugi still got his Johnny chopped. [/details]
[details=Spoiler]Takizawa is such a good guy, talking about saving Kuroha, and then pulling the fucking moves on her when he sat next to her on the bed. The guy is smooth.
The illusion was quite a mind-blow, but if Juiz can manipulate almost anyone or anything… I’m thinking that Saki herself was manipulated to make her see that, I dunno - I’m left guessing. This show knows how to leave me wanting to see the next ep right away. :looney:[/details]
[details=Spoiler]Haha yes that was awesome, I didn’t expect it to go in that direction. She was ready too lol
Seriously, I was thinking it may have just been something that was done to hide how she really left from Saki, but that’s awfully elaborate just for that.[/details]
