Honestly, they could probably go off of what the prologue had to offer, as far as a post-time skip…like Boota being a self-realizing human being (that was in the prologue)…something else…

…FLCL manga was weird as hell, but I liked the art, and I actually kinda like the Eva manga(didn’t like the anime), Shinji is way less pathetic.

I haven’t read the Eva Manga i just know things go differently. I didn’t like the FLCL Manga (I love the show) but it did have nice art your right.
And yeah sucks they said the Prologue is basically an alternate dimension (You can see a bit of it during the split in realities in the last few episodes along with Leeron kissing Simon and a bunch of other stuff) but all the more reason to do that in the Manga. Retreading the same ground is kind of dumb as long as the theme is the same it could still easily be awesome.

The movie version of TTGL is pretty sweet, from what I understand. Pulls a lot of stuff from the badass novel version.
So going off of what happened for me today, a little digging.
Do you have a d/l link (or at least a name in English) for that? I kinda like the tune to it; I ended up hearing the song during the two hours I was waiting in line for damn registration today. Well, it killed some time that I didn’t spend trying to identify the cosplayers (a guy who was waiting in line with me was actually surprised at how many characters I could identify).
Would you mind counting the hetero male population who doesn’t really like yuri? I honestly don’t think it would amount to much.
Then again, a nice yuri series is always in order. I swear, people are still hung over on Maka-Maka, Kashimashi (complete series on sale for, like, $30 today) and Strawberry Panic, maybe Maria-sama and KnM too. 'Tis a shame.

I didn’t care much for Maka-Maka(the manga, I assume there’s been no anime made?), and Strawberry Panic… I was tempted to watch it, but it just seemed so… I don’t know. Too much? I mean it just seemed like there would be tons of relationships between all of the girls. And if everyone’s gay… Where’s the spice of forbidden fruit?
It seemed like it would be kind of the shoujo-ai equivalent of Gakuen Heaven (shounen-ai) which I could not stand for more than one episode because it was just so “shallow” :xeye:
Over here I can just find the Kashimashi dvds for like 20$ each, no box or collection at all. Too bad. :sad:
Guren Hen is okay. It’s pretty much the first half of the series all over again, with a couple of new frames put in there for “new” content. If you’ve seen the series, then you don’t necessarily have to watch the movie.
Maka maka was kind of thin on plot to be a good story, and lacking in action to be a good h-manga. I never considered a kashimashi a yuri anime (more of a gender bender, how gender bender is a genre of its own is interesting enough, but thats not the point) Strawberry Panic was like watching some mediocre movie on cable because you hope to see some tits. I tried watching maria sama but didn’t find the characters or art very compelling…I might try watching it again some day…
Maria Holic dissapointed me, I was hoping for yuri instead I got a trap anime…whats worse is all the yuri was just a running gag, and she never got any. it made me sad. Its like when I used to watch inspector gadget I would wish for Dr. Claw to win because the universe was stacked against him. Watching him methodically get shut down and humiliated each time made me feel like he was the underdog.
I also usually feel bad for the harem anime’s token lesbian.
I never did watch Utena (slowpoke etc) so I dunno about how it is, but I do know the artstyle for that bit kinda looks like it. Unless you’re referring to something like the suggestive scenery.

I think the super illusion might be those wings and not the guy whom Shiratori took to make him not look like Ohsugi. For all we might know, he’s probably still hidden somewhere and the location that Takizawa found was a bait set up by Shiratori so that she’d meet him and see how the man responsible for Careless Monday truly is.
It has a very slow start, but quickly becomes an addiction… A freakin’ tease though, the most action you’ll ever get is the voices in your head screaming “now! embrace her! kiss her! here’s your chance!” :looney:

Seriously, it’s my favorite anime of all time. Awesome in so many ways.
The voices in my head usually say something like “Now! Now’s your chance! Push her down and rip open her blouse!” or “Her parents aren’t looking! Where’s your burlap sack!?”
I know, I hear so many great stuff about the show. So are a bunch of other shows on my to-watch list. Like Ippo, though, I’ll eventually get to see this soon enough. Each season doesn’t help with it’s multitude of great shows, either, making it harder to catchup older shows with new ones. :lol:
^^Actually I guess I’ll start downloading Utena since I’ve never watched either. I really have to stop getting the new shows whereas before I would only get the stuff that was already completed.

I still think that was Ohsugi. Even if Ohsugi gave her an accurate description of what Akira looked like, Shiratori wouldn’t have a clue that Akira was #9. All he saw was Akira riding on his bike with Saki. That’s not enough to confirm he was a Selecao. Although that doesn’t rule out Shiratori setting it up through Juiz, I don’t think there’s enough evidence for that. Yet it appeared that Shiratori didn’t know she was being tracked by Akira until she checked her phone log during the episode. It was then that she decided to meet him.
