will Ghost In the Shell ever get anything new? I love it, was just wondering.
Nope. Last thing we saw of it was the Solid State Society movie. I think there was also a remastered version of the 1st movie that has been released on DVD and theaters in Japan last year or so, but that’s about it for the franchise for now.
Shirow hasn’t been doing all that much lately. He did have a part in creating Real Drive and Ghost Hound, but there hasn’t been any word other than that.
They are releasing a BD version of GITS2: Innocence, dunno if they added anything or redid anything like they did with GITS 2.0
All the fans can do is hold out hope, but I get the feeling the GITS franchise is over except for figurines.

Only issue I can see with this setup is that the server is a random one on rizon, so some people may get a shitty connection. I could try to find a java client that’ll work in the page.

As for tomorrow, I’ll see if I can make it since I already made plans on hanging out with friends. Could get late, not sure… (6-7 is 12-1 for me, which is usually a good time)

In an interview with the director of GitS: SAC on the SSS DVD he said a third season of GitS: SAC would be dependent on the DVD sales in North America. I guess if they recouped their loss of making the movie they would do another season but with pirating, the state of the anime industry in North America, and the general poor marketing of GitS: SAC in North America there was absolutely no way that was doing to happen. I’ve pretty much given up all hope for a new season of GitS: SAC.
Dead Fantasy 3:
Kind of disappointed in the length of that video as the previous ones were quite lengthy and the teaser shown at fanime had a lot more footage and expanded on that fight. Obviously, he will be continuing the fight in another installment with that footage but I would have like to seen it in this installment. Anyways, excellent fight choreography though copied from various movies/animes/games but still nice to see those tributes like C.Viper’s Flame Kick that Tifa performs. Graphically, it’s sub-par but I wasn’t expecting great production values from someone who does this from his home PC on his own time for fans. Much respect goes out to him for continuing the project for fans despite the fact he has a stable job at Namco-Bandai and a hot girlfriend who likes to cosplay.
Princess Lover 2:
Welp, it didn’t take long at all for the show to degrade into typical harem BS but I still enjoy it for some odd reason. Next episode should be more interesting and I’ll just chock up this show as a guilty pleasure.
Kanamemo 2:
Nothing really here and it looks like character gags will be repeated for each episode much like Mio’s cowardly attitude in K-On. More lesbianism and loli raping. We do get some nice bits of development of Kana’s character and I can’t help but feel sorry for the girl given the situations she’s put in. Something about the opening scene is subtly touching. I absolutely loved it despite it being something rather minor. This is a show I can enjoy more and more but only if they develop Kana some more.
My vote goes to those, in that order.
Canaan ep2 was good. I think im dropping kanamemo, dont really care for it. Lovin Princess lover, also lovin dragon ball Kai, epic fight goku vs vegeta. wish it was all redone though, feels like im just watching it over without filler.
Just finished ep 2 of Umineko. Man oh man.
Haven’t fell in love with a new school anime in a while, so I thought Heroic Age was worth mentioning. Mecha genre, & I don’t even like that kind! If the action doesn’t grip you, the vibrantly colored clean animation & complex storyline will.
Plus it’s less than 30 episodes so it’s a great nonstop rush of good times, if you’re like me with a short attention span who’s not really into long animes (other than 12 Kingdoms).

You’re probably going to be disappointed by Claymore towards the end. Manga still good though.
…what? The animation in Heroic Age was terrible, and the action was too. I kinda liked the story but I hated the character designs so SO much.
